Zombie High! Survival RP (Started)

Jack immediately spun the car around and pointed the headlights into the forest and he could clearly see Alan through the tries thanks to the headlights. He jumped out of the vehicle and ran after him. He could see him but he couldn't get a shot. Christie was right beside him.

'hopefully she'll shoot him in the leg and we won't have to worry about that anymore. His hands are still bound anyway, he won't be a threat.' Jack kept his gun at the ready anyway.

Alan cursed at them, noticing the lights. He was able to widen the gap due to the sheer amount of adrenaline that was pumping through his body. He started to bite at his hand restraints, ripping them off. 'Sucks, those cables were for the power supply,' he thought, jumping over some logs, his knees buckling when he landed.

'Fucking hell,' he thought. He took a moment to think about where he was as he ran past a zombie. 'Well, the river is close by. And if I can follow that I can get to the summer house.'

"What the-! Shit!" Christie yelled enraged, "He's fast. You didn't double lock the door?! You didn't tie him up tight enough?!"
She didn't like this, she pulled out her pistol for it's maneuverability and put a finger to the trigger. She wasn't going to lose him now, she took to running faster, trying to catch up with him.

"We can be thankful for that. What could we do now though? There's no real way to track them. Would they drive to the hospital?" Lisa said with a sigh.

"I'm sorry but does it look like I kidnap people on a regular basis. I know I tied him up tight enough, that wasn't the issue. Next time check my work, you're the black ops soldier who does this on a regular basis remember?" Jack said as he kept pace with Alan.

"That could be where they went. Lots of military there," Adries said, "We should head over there. We're wasting time here."

Alan was panting as he ran into some mud, almost slipping. He looked behind him and saw the two of them, and noticed Jack with his gun out. 'Shit, shit, shit,' he thought, looking around him. He saw a small group of around twenty zombies and ran towards them. He was able to duck and weave around them, slipping a few times. He cursed that he lost his initial moment, but hoped that the zombies would provide a slight distraction.

'Just a little longer and I'll be at the river,' he thought, running around a fallen tree.

Jack kept moving only shooting the zombies in his path He took down around ten of them by the time he was through. Jack saw the river coming up.

'He thinks he'll make it if he gets to the river, perfect for me.' Jack thought.

"Hm. Clever." Christie muttered as she lost sight momentarily as he slipped in between the zombies. She took a deep breath and put her energy into running, ignoring the zombies, she jumped over obstacles and kept a sharp eye on Alan. Her eyes always waiting for a perfect shot.

"I think that's our only bet for the moment, If we come up with any other ideas, we'll set off there. We should get there in no time." Lisa agreed before speeding off again.

Alan wiped the sweat off his brow as he looked behind him. He cussed at them and flipped them off, not slowing down. He heard the river ahead and smiled as he climbed onto a small rock. He smile faded when he looked at the huge, raging river in front of him.

He mentally slapped himself, remembering what the time of year was. 'Fucking almost winter! Shit, and it rained yesterday! No wonder it's like this,' he thought, as he made his way over to the edge of the river bank. He climbed up onto another rock and looked around. 'Dare I do it? God, my life is probably safer in their hands then this,' he thought. He pushed that thought out though, remembering that he would only have to travel a few miles by the river in order to get to his destination. 'Let's go.'

Adries was silent as they started to make their way to the hospital. She hoped they would be there, but knew that the chances of it were low. 'And even if they are we have no plan,' she thought.

Jack took Christie's stun gun and aimed the laser, accounting for the drop and wind speed he waited until he saw Alan's arm pop out from behind the rock. Jack fired and Alan immediately fell backward into the rock. He kept his finger on the trigger ready to administer electrical shocks should he try to get up again. He lifted him up and walked behind him. As christie killed zombies he whispered to him.

"I have a plan but you need to fucking cooperate. If you tell her what she wants to know we can all get what we want, even her. Her weakness is power, she craves it, she told me herself. The only reason she is here is because she wants power. You tell her what she wants to know, and I have a plan that will use her lust for power to get us out alive. You have to trust me though, I don't want anyone here killed, but with the route you're taking you will die. I'll explain in detail later, but either way she is going to get you to spill. I can at least get her to spare you and your own."

Alan listened to Jack, quickly losing consciousness. He quickly said, "Like fuck I'll do that." before blacking out completely, his body completely drained of energy.

"Wait!" Adries suddenly yelled to Lisa, startling her. "We need a plan! We can't just, bust up anywhere! We need weapons if we have to get my brother back by force! This won't work. They wouldn't go there either. Shit! They wouldn't go to a place that they know that we know about! Alright, we must think this through."

"Well fuck, looks like I'll have to save your ass without your help then." Jack muttered as he walked back to Lisa who had dispatched the rest of the zombies.

Lisa stopped the car by the side of the road, resting her hands on the wheel.
"You're right...Okay, first thing is first, weapons. I have enough ammo to keep me going, but it's true, that's not enough. We can quickly grab some stuff from the U-haul or we can break into somewhere quickly. Meanwhile, what kind of place would they want to go to?" Lisa thought aloud.

Christie shot the final zombie, point blank, the blood spattering slightly on her face. She turned to Jack who was holding the now unconscious Alan. A smile played around her lips.
"Well, looks like we are back to square one. Let's move out."

Jack dragged Alan as they went back to the car.

"You said earlier that your superiors were offering you power? What are they offering? I bet I could get you much, much more. All you would need to do is follow my plan, one that I tried to coerce Alan into giving the information willingly with before he lost consciousness." Jack said as they walked back to the car.

"That isn't the only thing that we have to take into consideration," Adries added, thinking deeply, "What if Alan escaped? Where would he go? I think that they would try to take him somewhere where we wouldn't think of. Somewhere desolate. But, if Alan escaped the only place I can think of him going is to our summer home. Shit, we just have no clue what to do."

 

[VaudevillianVeteran]

"Can you offer me a place as second to the general beside the President of the United States? Control over this state? If you can top that, you've gained my interest, if not let's stick to the plan we have, shall we? I'll stay in the back with him, I doubt he'll make another escape attempt with my knife held against his neck." Christie explained opening the back door so that Jack could put him in.

Lisa bit down on her lip as she often did with stress.
"If we had more information to go on we'd be alright. It's basically picking a direction and hoping it's the way to go at the minute. Which direction is your summer house in? I know this is ridiculous but if we consider it, we can pick up on any places in particular they could've gone, direction wise."

"Well, if you go another mile down the road there is an dirt road that you would take to get to it. So...North. It's completely desolate in the forest, next to the river. It's a big property," Adries told her, the stress starting to get to her. She started to tap her head against the table.

'Shit Alan, where are you?' she thought to herself.

"That I can Christie, I can give you the offer of any non-elected position you want. You get the information out of him and his aunt's notes, but you don't kill him. You blackmail your superiors and record the call and make sure you mention the zombies or the virus. When they agree you let me go on the air and explain what has happened, I'll implicate not the military, but the politicians. The president and in fact every politician will be scrambling to cover their ass, and in you come in with a recording that can allow them to point the blame at your superiors instead of all of them. You can get any non-elected position you want and a hailing as a hero if you wish. Its a simple plan of betrayal that you're superiors won't expect.

They expect a cutthroat and a liar, but not someone who would betray them. They would think you would follow their orders, and then you turn on them. You can have your own superior's job, and that is more power than they are willing to offer, and both you and I know it would work all too well." Jack said as he loaded Alan in the back and climbed in the front seat.

She took a seat beside Alan, drawing her bowie knife ready. The plan made her eyes lit up.
Any non-elected position? Hm, he knows what he's talking about. I'm going to get that information anyway. Once i have, I can weigh up the possibilities and carry through either way. but his plan sounds all too tempting...
"You, sir, have caught my attention."

Lisa put a reassuring hand on Adries' shoulder.
"The hospital is in the north just before the highway. That means the military would be operating more to the North. My bets are that Christie would go to a government owned building. Chances are, that there would be other government locations in the north. That's the only think I can think of."

"So, up north then? Check the summer home then continue on upwards?" Adries asked, thinking it through. It made sense, plus Uncle Al might still be there. 'And he'd be the most help,' she thought, taking a few deep breathes to come down.
