?Err, yeah. She went to talk with Alan and Adries. Not to be disturbed and all that,? Jacobs replied, standing over by a window due to some motion sickness he was getting from the train.

"I think, like a few minutes or longer?" Jacobs said nervously, trying to not give away too much info.

" Can you...give her something for me? She doesn't want to talk to me or see me, I just want to say i'm sorry. And that if anything happens on this plan...I'm still her older sister. I trust you a great deal Jacobs."Christie spoke, feigning sadness with her expression.

"Um, I guess I could though that might no- I mean. Well, sure?" Jacobs said, trying to figure out what he could and couldn't say, "I mean...yes ma'am."

Christie flashed a weak smile.
"Thank you Jacobs. You are considered a friend."
She undid a black leather wristband on her right wrist. She handed it over.
"It won't make things right, but it would make me feel better, you understand? She and I aren't on good terms. Ever. But we could be the last ones left in our family..."

JD took a seat in the conductor's seat and put his feet up. He decided to keep his eyes on the horizon. Then something caught his eye. The City was up ahead. Fire and smoke made it visible in the cold night. Quickly, JD fumbled around for some type of communication. Then he stumbled across a strangely modern intercom system. He turns it on.

"Excuse me passengers, The Vanderbilt Railyards is our next and last stop into the city. Please gather your belongings and exit in an orderly fashion once the train comes to a complete stop. Enjoy the rest of your day and Thank you for riding DeMarcus Railways." JD says in a mock conductor's voice.

Did You Know? The Vanderbilt Railyards is an actual place in Brooklyn NY? Look it up!

This is how it looks IRL:

((No thanks. :p ))

Jacobs nodded and quickly made it to the third compartment, unlocking it with a key he had found and quickly bolting through and opening the back door. They were only a little bit away from the fourth compartment, Jacobs waved and tossed the device running back inside after waving goodbye one last time.

"Seems like Jacobs wants to give us something," Adries muttered to Alan, noting where the little thing had dropped.
"We'll pick it up in a bit. We can't be known about until later," Alan replied back.

Christie gave a smug smirk, crossing her legs and laying back a little.
I would've done well on broadway.
She cleared the smirk and went back to looking rather placid, giving a thankful nod to the Private when he returned.

Lisa looked to where the object had been dropped before going back to looking out of the window at what really seemed like nothing.
"I'm tempted to ask. How long until we're there?"

?All done ma?am,? Jacobs told her with a slight salute.

?We?ll probably stay in here for a half-hour. Getting to the lab will take a day. I found another train that works, and I figured out the route we?ll take,? Alan told them, lounging in his seat, ?Sadly we?ll have to walk some of the way there since it?s in the middle of nowhere.?

"Thank you again. So we have a route ready?" Christie asked, changing the subject.

"Well, That's a pain. But, so long as the lab is safe, I don't mind in the slightest." Lisa replied, looking at the suitcase.

?Yes we do. Hopefully everything will be fine. I know that in an hour we?ll have to switch over the rails, but that shouldn?t be too hard. Gonna go right by the city instead of into it,? Jacobs replied, ?It?ll keep us safe?hopefully.?

?Indeed. Probably will have to clean it up a bit, make sure the generator works and all that. It?s been awhile since I?ve been there, but I know it was used recently,? Alan told them.

JD estimated that the ride to the trainyards would be a long one, so he decided to put his head down for some rest. He hadn't gotten any sleep since his first acquired his powers, and he figured that his slumber was well deserved. He slowed the train down a bit, told Dewey to take a break, and went to lay down on one of the Passenger Car's seats.

Jack was swiftly figuring out where the psyonic abilities of the scorcher, and by extension JD, were coming from. He had been having the scorcher teleport randomly inside the city for at least thirty minutes now, and he had isolated which centers of the brain lit up during the teleportation process. Now all he needed to do was figure out what command would cause them to turn off and on. If he could figure this out, he may even be able to impart these powers to any zombie who had an aptitude or affinity for them. He knew he was close, it was only a matter of time, concentration, and patience. He had plenty of all of these things.

Meanwhile...

45 minutes went by. JD shoots up from his slumber. He went to check on the controls.

"Well, everything seems to be fine here." He said to himself

He looked out the window. The city was closer. He rushed to the fourth car, and was confronted by Jacobs.

"Jake, can you tell the Master Planner that we'll be arriving in the city in 15 minutes? I'd appreciate it." JD said before making his way back to the controls.

Carver had his weapons laid out on a table. His 38 special with what ever ammo was left.
A nine with 5 extra clips. His main weapon how ever was an MP5 with plenty of mods. An A2 scope to improve accuracy. A sliding combat stock and a silencer all with extended clips. He did a double clip tie trick. Using duct tape, he would tie two clips together, side by side. This would make for a faster reload. A bullet proof vest and orange sport shades that were safety glasses. on the vest, he had pockets and straps to hold all of his clips and spare bullets. Two flash bang grenades and four fragmentation grenades hung from the vest as well.

A large combat knife was strapped to his thigh. And a butterfly knife was in a pocket, just in case. While in the train tunnels he found supplies to make pipe bombs and had 3 in the "backpack" pocket on his vest.

He walked up to the front of the train. "So conductor, how are we doing?" he said to JD as he looked out the window.

JD looked up at Carver. The Battle equipment almost made him do a double take.

"¡Dios mío! you're prepared for war aren't you?" JD said in a surprised tone.

"Well, we're about 15 minutes away from our destination, so make sure all your guns are loaded and your knives sharpened. But if your bored, you could make yourself useful by loading some coal into the engine" He said, pointing to the nearby shovel and coal.

Carver took off his gloves, still feeling a slight bit of amusement at JD's shock, and began shoveling coal. It was a good work out to loosen him up and stretch his muscles.

"How far out are we? I mean in distance."

"I don't know. I if were to guess, I'd say we're about a half-mile away from the city." JD answered.

The railyards made themselves even more visible, as did the city.

Retribution was at hand.

Jacobs coughed a few times as he made his way to the front of the train. He looked over the map quickly before hitting the breaks on the train. It skidded to a halt and Jacobs turned on the microphone.

?Everyone I need to tell you something. We?ve gone far enough so I think it?s time. We?re not going into the city. Alan, Lisa, and Adries are currently on their way to someplace, they aren?t even on the train anymore,? Jacobs said, ?So yeah guys. Also, can someone come and help me switch the tracks over to the other line so that we can make our way around the city? I think Alan was right when he said we don?t want to go into the city?.?

?It?s been long enough,? Alan said to the two as he opened up the compartment door and made his way to a working train facing the opposite direction.
?Gotcha! Finally, I was getting kinda bored,? Adries replied, running over to the thing Jacobs had thrown at them and handing it to Lisa.
?Okay. I?ll shovel the coal and Lisa you can drive this thing. Adries, you can watch the stuff,? Alan told them.
