Zombie High! Survival RP (Started)

"I found them down stairs, they managed to barricade themselves in one of the classrooms. They came from that preschool across the street, I've been with them here ever since I found them, they're really freaked out and I can't say that I blame them."

"Wheres my mommy?" one of the girls asked

"I just realized that I forgot to ask somthing, do you guys have any brotheres and sister who go to this school?"

"Chuck, over here quickly," Adries says, grabbing him and taking him to a corner, "We need to see if anyone is still alive at the pre-school. I don't like kids, at all. I mean, I really dislike them...probably because they like me so much...but whatever. We have to go and check it out. We can't just leave any others like this. And it's only across the street. What do you think?"

Jack turned away from fiddling with the transmitter after the children had arrived. He walked over to Adries after overhearing their plan.

"Adries see if you can't get Mr. Lording to go with you, judging by his proficiency downstairs he should be a real help. Also, I think if you are going to go outside all of you will need one of these," Jack took the pistol out of his pocket and handed it to Adries" on top of whatever else you are thinking of bringing. I'll stay here with the children, see if I can't put this hammer to good use at a vending machine. Maybe give them your comics, where are they by the way?" Jack spoke quietly as to not scare the obviously spooked children anymore.

"You best not give them the comics...they're a bit 'adult'. Not porn or anything but violent and stuff," Adries replied, handing Charles the gun since she already had one, "It sounds like a plan though. We'll go get Mr. Lording. Any complaints?"

"None, lets go check out the school."

Adries nodded and grabbed her hammer before heading out the classroom. She made her way downstairs, making sure the area was cleared. She looked at the main entrance before saying, "We should head out through one of the windows. Don't want all that hard construction work go to waste."

The small group of Charles, Lording and Adries exited through a broken window. On the street, they saw cars abandoned in the middle of the road. A couple of zombies roamed the road and were quickly dispatched with hammerblows to the head.

"Careful" Charles said "Some poeple might have died and reanimated i ntheir car."

They crossed the street and arrived at the preschool. They tried to open the door, but foun that it was baricaded

"Thats a hopful sign" Charles said

As they moved around they school, the broke open a window in the back and crawled in.

Adries carefully walked into the room they were in, looking around for any sign of life. "We should probably head towards where they were barricaded," she says, opening the only door and taking a chair to the face.

"Oh! No!" yelled the child holding the chair, followed by a group of four younger kids running over and gawking at the site. "You okay?" "Are they zombies?" "WAAAHHH!!"

"Oh jee willickers! Ouch. Ah I think my nose is broken!" Adries yelled from the floor, sitting up and clutching her bleeding nose. "Chuck, deal with them. I'm really not in the mood."

Jack had been comforting the children as best he could since the team had left. He had told them comforting lies about how their families had most likely escaped and how they would probably be waiting for them. He knew the children would interpret it as their family is okay and they will be reunited soon. He hated lying but knew in this case it was necessary and the right thing to do. Actually, other than get the radio up and running, it was all he could do for them.

"It's all right kids we'll be out of here real soon, in fact I'm already getting ready to call for help. Soon soldiers will be here to take you back to your family, and this will all be over. That machine over there *he pointed to the transmitter* will call them, and then all this will be over and we'll be saved. Until then, you need to be brave and not get scared no matter how bad things may seem." He hugged the small children who were on the verge of tears.

"Don't worry we'll all be safe soon, I promise. Everything will be okay." Jack added under his breath so the kids wouldn't hear over the moaning of the zombies in the distance. "I hope."

"Hey kids, we're from the highschool, we found some kids from you class holed up in our school and though it would be a good idea to see if anyone else was here. Is there anyone else with you?"

The kid with the chair spoke up

"Just us mister, the others kids parent came and got them, but our parents never came. Do our parents hate us?"

"No..its just.....They don't hate you maybe they got stuck somwhere?"

"Ohh" said the kid not altogether convinced


"Look, after I take care of my friend here we'll take you back to our school, its safe and we have food and candy."

"O.K" all the kids said in unison

Charles knelt by Adries and her gently moved he head to look at her nose

"I think your right, your nose is broken, I've saw enough of them on the team. We can get you fixed up at the school, but we have to get these kids out of here first. You up to it?"

"Yeah, yeah I guess I'm up for going back," Adries replied as she stood up. She was a little light-headed at first but got over that pretty quickly. "I should be good to head back. The sooner the better though. My yelling and their screaming might have led quite a bit of zombies here. Should we head out the same way or...oh crap." It was then that she noticed the small horde of zombies coming nearer to the window; seemingly the screaming and yelling did attract them.

"I say we hurry it up and go."

"The Front door, its our best bet." Charles said as he began to shift some furnitue

"I'll take the lead and you take the rear." He looked at the kids who were visibly frightened
"Kids stay between us and whatever you do don't run off on your own stay with us"

They nodded

Charles pulled out his pistol and opened the door. He shot a zombie that was right in front of his and smashed the head of another to the side

"Run!" he yelled

Jack heard the sound of moaning growing louder in the distance.

"All right kids remember what I said about being brave, I need you to get in that closet and don't come out until me or one of my friends come and get you okay?"

The kids were obviously scared and he did his best to comfort them as the moaning grew even louder.

"I promise that you will be safe and that I will protect you. Just trust me and hide in the closet."

He hoped the kids would be safe there, as the zombies didn't seem to actually check a room unless they saw something. Once they were in the closet he grabbed the shotgun from where he had hidden it the night before, and the case of shells that was stashed nearby. He loaded the shotgun, cocked it, and pointed it at the door. From the number of moans a simple pair of scissors or a hammer just wouldn't be enough. He wasn't a man of god by any stretch of the imagination, but he said a prayer for the team that had been sent to the preschool.

Adries immediately darted out the door with the kids. She had her hammer in one hand while the other covered her nose. The zombies had noticed the pistol shot and immediately gave chase.

"Wait, Chuck! Shouldn't we try to protect the school by not running towards it? Lure the zombies away where they can't see us then run back to the school? We don't want an onslaught of zombies!" Adries separated from the group and tried to lure the zombies into a building.

"Look I'll head into the house and make them think I'm in there, then I'll run through the back and run back to school!" Adries yelled and taunted the zombies, who stupidly started to follow her into the yard.

"Just make sure you keep a window open for me at school. And don't tell anyone I did this!"

"Adrie, you losing blood and I'm the one with the noisy boom stick, get the kids out of here and I'l take care of these shamblers."

He moved off the the side and fired his gun into the air twice, the zombies turned away from Adries and began to slouch towards him

"Just take care of the kids I'll be fine." He said

"Get them out of here!" he yelled as he fired at a zombie

"Fine..." Adries says, directing the kids to the school. She waited until the zombies were completely distracted before running with them to the school. She helped them through the open window and lead them to the Chemistry room.

"Ah, Mr. Fletcher! I have more kids for you!" Adries says, showing them before running to the window to make sure everything was alright outside.

Jack dropped the shotgun as he grabbed Adries by the shoulders.

"My god! Are you okay! Where's Charles? Were you followed?"

He walked over to the closet and opened the door as the moaning seemed to be dying down.

"You see? I told you it would be okay. You can come out now." Jack said to the children who joined the crowd of their classmates.

"Now you owe me some answers Adries. Just what happened out there?"

"Ohh fuck!" Charles yelled as reazlized his clip was empty and it dawned on his the two zombies he had killed with a gun were at very close range.

Fumbling with his spare magazine, he somehow managed to load his gun again

He moved closed to the group of around two dozen zombies

"Eat this!" he yelled as he shot ones head.

"Well. We saved some kids. And my nose broke. And Chuck is trying to lure them away. And from what I can tell he's doing a good job," Adries replied, hearing the moans going further away. "I'm not really that fine but I can live with it."

"So, is the transmitter working or do we need to repair it?" asked Slavoj.
