Zombie High! Survival RP (Started)

((Its on the ground. I'm behind a car shooting at it from close range with a shotgun.))

"No you fucking don't, I'm all for democracy but I'm not giving you a choice. We need at least one truck to make it back to the high school or people will die after a time, we have one truck coming back, you need to go. Don't argue just fucking GO! Tell Adries that I'll drag the thing towards the truck when she honks the horn as a signal." Jack shouted before moving as quickly as possible behind the bird and unloading slugs into what looked like its spine.

I think it's about time Mr. Lording left the story. I left for one day and there's a... bird... attacking the group? Too confusing. I'm out.

Ivan saw that the bird now was focused on his truck. "That's right, fucker. stay on me. don't get anywhere near the others, just stay on me." He took out one of his homemade pyrotecnics, lit the fuse, then lit the firecrackers tied to it. he aimed it at the bird and let it go. it shrieked its way up to the bird, which it nailed right in the middle of the body. the bird screeched in fury, and fell to the ground. Ivan got out and started shooting at it with the shotgun.

Lisa felt bad, she didn't want to leave him to fight the bird in his state, Only two against this behemoth with Jason gone from sight.
"Alright!" She said running towards the truck in the alley, then tapping into the C/B.

"Adries, Chuck, Come in. Jack told me to head off to the high school to get these supplies to them, He's going to drag the bird towards the truck when you honk your horn as a signal. I'll see you soon."

Charles pulled the truck up to the fuel tanker he turned to Adries and asked "How are we gonna do this?"

Jack stopped shooting the bird when he saw someone else hit it with explosives. He shouted over the sounds around him.

"Hey when you hear a honk get it over to that fuel truck! We got a plan!" he fired into the bird's wings to keep it from flying away again. Jack was going to do the best he could to stick to the plan.

Adries kept shooting at the bird until she lost sight of it. "That's okay. We're at the tank," she said to herself as the truck rolled up next to it. "Alright, Chuck. Go and try to get some oil out of the tank and put some into a bottle. We'll turn it into a molotov or something and use that to light it. I can't really think of anything else we can do. Do you?"

Adries grabbed a bottle and handed it to Charles. She tore off part of her pants and handed that to him. "I'll keep the zombies away from you," she said, pulling out her pistol.

Jason saw Ivan firing up into the bird thing with a shotgun and Jason ran over pulling out his pistol and unloading a few rounds into the bird himself...
"Hey you got anything to blow this godamn bird into oblivion?" Jason called to Ivan.

((I think i'm gonna leave too... this story has gotten kinda confusing, i mean one day were at school finding a battery the next were fighting a giant bird thing with shotguns, rifles and trucks? I dont know yet, I'll stay a bit longer....))

((I think a recap is in order so. We were looking for the battery, we found them, and I have been working on getting them to work with the transmitter before the school generator goes out. We picked up some preschoolers who were hiding in the high school and then others in the preschool across the street. Supplies have been an issue from day one, but we needed to clean out the bottom floor before we did anything else. We cleared the bottom floor and now we have gone out in search of supplies near sundown, found Lisa running down the street after our car, found two U-hauls to carry supplies, got in a mexican standoff where me and Adries got shot with people who had set up a base in the store, and now the bird [which I guess is really more of a bat] is attacking because the sun is fully going down. Confusing but I hope it helps.))

Adries shot at a zombie that was getting too close. Thankfully the majority of the zombies had followed them through the back, so there weren't too many in the immediate area.

Jason fired off two more rounds into the bird thing on the floor then reloaded. Since the bird thing was on the ground, Jason holstered his gun and picked up his sledghammer that he had dropped beside him and slowly made his way over to the bird/bat thing on the ground and bashed it's skull in. He turned away from the carcass of the bird and walked over to Ivan who was still standing there.
"What should we do now? The sun is setting and the school seems to far away to get to... should we head after the others and tell them that the bird is dead?" Jason asked him placing the sledghammer on his right shoulder, holding it steady there with his right hand. From all corners of the parking lot zombies were slowly lumbering out of their hiding and coming towards the smell of fresh meat.

Lisa pulled the clutch and drove out of the alley, knowing that there were supplies needed to be given at the high school. She drove past them, giving short whistles to let them know she was heading to the camp. The meter went up to 60 as she ran down a few zombies and hit the road to the high school.

(I better be off now for the time being, it's 3am. XD, Let's say for story's sake that Lisa is helping out with the survivors at the high school until i get back- which i probably will considering how fun this has been- feel free to mind control her or whatever until then. Thanks and RP again soon )

I liked how the pace was earlier in the story, but i figured walking around a confined space, killing random, slow zombies would get boring, so i spruced it up by throwing in a zombifyed, mutant bird. (i guess i should've put that The Malevolence Strain has a completely different effect on animals than humans)

"Hey you, whoever you are, does your truck still work?" Jack asked as he ran up to Jason and the man who had, what at least seemed like, a small armory.

"If not, we may be able to get to my car, but your weapon loaded truck would be less of a hassle to get to."

Jason saw Lisa drive past them and assumed she was heading back to the high school to help the others and Jason nodded to her as she drove out of the parking lot. He started walking over to random cars and tryiong to see if any of them were unlocked. He did find one eventually that had keys and he hopped inside the driver seat and started up the car. It was an old truck and seemed like if they needed to ram a few zombies it would be up to it. The gas meter read half-full and Jason thanked god for that. He slammed his door shut and pulled over to Ivan.
"You coming?" Jason said with a grin as the zombies were coming ever closer.

Another man was there and Jason nodded for him to get in too.

((Lisa drove away with our weapon filled truck and i found another one that had half a tank of gas and a shotgun in the back. I call dibs by the way lol... if you guys dont like this idea tell me and i'll change it i just thought that it would be logical that there would be a shotgun in the back of a truck with a dead body in it.))

After Charles had finished setting things up, they drove a little farther away to make sure that they were safe from the blast. They even threw in some propane tanks near the tanker. With that all finished, the truck horn was honked and they waited for their friends and the bird.

((I like this pace, though I will admit it's because I have nothing better to do. I thought it was getting a bit dull just staying in the school. I hope we can branch out of it...))
