Adries sighed as she opened the door to the bottom floor, pistol and hammer in hand. She did a quick look before walking down the stairs, adrenaline pumping. She had just gotten through dealing with zombies and now she has to make a sweep to make sure there aren't anymore. 'Just my luck,' she thought, swinging around a corner and ready to attack.
There was nothing there, so she continued along. She opened a few classrooms, only to find empty rooms with papers and books scattered across the floor. 'Maybe there isn't anything here...oh great, a broken window with blood around it. And now I hear moans. Crap,' she thought following the trail of blood. It ended at room C3, and there were many moans inside.
'And the door is locked from the inside. How the hell does that work?' she thought, trying to open the door with no success, "It's time to kick some zombie ass..."
She kicked open the door and met with at least ten stares her way. "Oh...crap. Bye." She immediately slammed the door, only to get knocked back by a zombie that had already broken through the door. "Oh shit," she muttered, jumping up, aiming for the head with her pistol and firing. The zombie's head rocked back and it slumped through the door. She continued firing, only for the door to finally completely break and the zombies to flood out.
She backpedaled back the way she came, shooting some zombies here and there. The group started to dwindle, but then one bolted out of the room and sprinted towards her. "WHAT!? No fair you can't ru-" Adries started to say, missing her shot and being knocked to the ground by the sprinter. "Gah!" she yelled, pushing the monster away. She put the pistol to it's face, but before she could fire it was knocked away from her hand by the sprinter's hand. She screamed as she bashed it's head open with the hammer; it's bloodied remains splattering over her face.
"Shit! I can't see!" she yelled, pushing what once was a zombie off of her and trying to wipe away some of the blood. It was too dangerous to open her eyes with the chance of being infected, and there were still a few more zombies shambling towards her. She made a dash back the way she came, slipping on the blood trail and crashing into a wall.
'These last fifteen minutes have been fucking bullshit,' she thought, getting back up and running into one of the deserted classrooms, locking it shut. She took a moment to take some deep breathes; her body aching, 'Great, now what?'
