Christie gave her sister's name and waited for admittance to the lab. While she did, she pulled a thermos from her bag and took a swig. She put a hand to sore blemish on her neck and muttered something under her breath. The guard who was left behind, gave a strange look to her and shifted uncomfortably.

"Fine, fine, just so long as you give it back. But for the time being you've saved us all, yay." Lisa replied with some sarcasm, trying to listen in to what they were talking about. The soldier spoke quietly to Westin about something, who thought for a moment before answering. He nodded before leaving.
"Probably nothing."

The senior guard came back, telling Christie she could go in but that she won't be able to use her sister's name anymore to get in.
Alan was waiting for her, tossing a small vial up in the air as she entered.

"Lies, they're talking about turning us all into cannibalistic bear zombies," Adries whispered back, "They then want us to devour each other so they can rule the world! That is why they're so secretive. And the gun will be returned. I'll probably continue to 'borrow' it though."

"I apologize that I'm slightly late. It seems that insufficient problems can take up sufficient amounts of time." Christie replied, her eyes immediately drew to the vial. A smug smile appeared.
"I see you took the smart decision. I underestimated that."

Lisa chuckled before standing and grabbing a bottle of water.
"Those fiends! We all know that bear zombies are the most vicious of all. We must stop them at some point!"
She sipped some before continuing,
"So long as you 'borrow' it, and return it. You'll hear no objections from me."

"Just be happy I'm not going to throw it on the ground now, since this is airborne and I am immune," Alan replied to her, looking tempted to do just that. "Don't come asking me for anything else either please? Unless you want some of this for yourself, then I might just let you," Alan told her, tossing the vial to her before shooing her out again so he could get back to work.

"Hey that kid would be happy to know the use it's being put through," Adries replied to her, tilting her stool so that she was reclined against the wall.

"Don't worry about that. This was a one time thing. Don't expect me to die in such a boring way either, infection? Overrated." Christie said finally before she left, too pleased with the vial to bother to argue. She slipped the vial into a safe pocket before leaving to find the other supplies she'd need for later.

"Too true." Lisa replied before attending to a new person that entered with a gash on her arm. It was finished within a few minutes and she sat back on her bed.
"...I wish there was more of that cake."

((I can take a hint XD, Alright, I'll get online now, Although i warn you, don't expect anything spectacular. I failed quite a lot earlier.))

((That's alright. Just send me an invite or something and I'll join. I'll just listen to music until then. :) ))

"There will be. We got a pastry chef in orientation today so expect good stuff there," Adries started, getting distracted by a relatively large group of people coming into the hospital.

There were around a dozen or so people with injuries, including two soldiers who were brought in. Dr. Westin was quickly figuring out what was going on, sending a soldier and three civilians to Lisa and Adries with minor injuries.
"Crap, I guess I'll have to help then," Adries said, sitting back up and awaiting instructions from Lisa.

She sat them down, thinking calmly and starting to treat the first person who had a large cut running down their arm. She turned to Adries, then gesturing to another civilian.
"Could you help him out please? Make sure there isn't anything visible in the wound, Take some of the water or anti-bac from that trolley and bandage. For the time being it doesn't seem like they're going to need much else." Lisa explained to her, before acting out what she had told.

Adries looked at the civilian who stared back at her. "Yeah, well. You seem to have a few abrasions. So..." Adries started, grabbing the civilian's arm and putting some hydrogen peroxide on it, "Then I bandage it up and I guess you're good. All done...I hope."

"Can the other lady take a look?" the civilian asked.
"Yeah no. She seems busy. And you're fine, I mean it's not like it's anything serious," Adries replied, shooing the civilian away.

Lisa finished bandaging her civilian, flashed a brief smile and said,
"There. You're going to be fine."
Then she moved onto the next civilian which was met with protest from the soldier.
Lisa took a look at the almost scratched cuts on their legs. She looked over to the civilian that had entered the clinic moments before, then turning to Adries.
"How are you holding up?"

"Well. This isn't so hard, I mean I probably can't do anything more complicated then what I'm doing now but it's not that bad," Adries replied, looking at a soldier with a slight scratch, "Boy there are a lot of people with injuries. I'm wondering what the hell happened."

((Argh, my computer is going to be borrowed by a friend for most of the day. I'll still try to post though when I get a chance. Sorry, and maybe we can play today. Your brother was able to join a game with myself and a friend before getting lagged out. Grrr...))

"I can tell you how to do anything else- if there's anything else wrong." Lisa said before taking some equipment to stitch a deep cut in the civilians leg who swore in pain. Once she finished she turned to them and asked him,
"So what did happen by the way?"

((Ah my brother does dominate the console more than me so i'm not surprised. Hope to catch you online later too.))

"We were picking up civilians when a big horde attacked," one of the soldiers replied, watching over the bandaged civilians, "I mean, huge like. We left the bitten behind, but we still had quite a few injuries from just trying to escape."

"Shit this sucks," Adries said, "Whoa, wait. That horde might have followed you!"
"Perhaps. Were sending a report now to prepare for one if it comes," the soldier replied to them.

"You guys were incredibly lucky." Lisa said putting a final bandage on the civilians leg then standing up.
"The horde shouldn't be a problem if they head this way, they've got enough guns to start a small war between themselves, not to mention that a lot of soldiers are particularly blood-thirsty. No offense." She said to the soldier.

Christie was ready to go now. She'd put all of the equipment she wanted in the back of the free jeep and headed to the prison. She went to the main office and asked to be put on parole again. She was given a hesitant glance from the main guard but allowed her access. She did the tedious act of removing her weapons then strolled in the direction of Jack's cell.

Jack was once again sitting in seiza on the floor, he saw Christie approach the gate and stood up.

"Is it time or are you still preparing?" Jack asked where he stood.

"A little of both...Now do as I say." Christie replied softly, before turning and yelling in a feigned distressed tone for the main guard. She turned back to Jack and muttered,
"Play dead."

"Fair enough, I see where this is going. I have to agree with your plan, kudos." Jack said as he laid down sideways and breathed slowly enough that his chest barely moved. Anyone would think that even if he wasn't dead, he was either in a coma or unconscious.

"No man I don't even know if we can deal with it. It's a fucking huge ass horde. Fucking thousands! I'm not even sure where they came from or how they all managed to get together like they did, but it's bad. I don't know if we'd be able to beat that," the soldier said nervously.

Adries gave Lisa a scared look not sure what would happen next. 'We have a nice place and something bad just has to happen,' she thought to herself, already coming up with an escape plan in case the base falls.

Lisa bit down on a nail, returning the nervous feeling to Adries then shaking the thought from her head, trying to keep up her brave approach.
"Um. Anyway, Is there anything else wrong with any of you? Feel free to rest up here."

Christie paced slightly and kept her distressed facade, when the main guard finally entered.
Let's hope my acting is as good as yours.
"What's going on?"
"Sir. This man needs medical attention."
"Shit, did you see what happened?"
"No. Here, we need to get him to the clinic."
The guard grabbed his keycard and released the door. Without missing a beat, Christie grabbed his extended arm and forced it behind his back, slammed him against the wall and proceeded with the sleeper hold.
