Oh,well,grenades?

Or something that can take down multiple targets at once, lightweight, and easy to use.I was thinking about chainsaw, but i once held it in my hands in real life, and I'm pretty sure it's too heavy for my fragile arms to wave it around effectively.

So i'm gonna go for a Katana.

The bottleneck. Any other weapon becomes way more effective if they can only get in through one door.

Grenades are actually one of the worst things, the shrapnel they use has an extremely low chance of destroying the brain.

As for meelee a crowbar or axe, both are effective, fairly light, a good range, durable, and have seperate uses.

As for guns a semi automatic rifle, preferably with common ammo, and as for a sidearm I'd just go for a 9mm since ammo is also relatively common and its reliable.

But personally I'd just go running around like an idiot with a red queen replica.

Max Brooks zombies: The hunting rifle; Easy to maintain, ammunition is easy to come by, can accurately pop a zombie's head off

Left 4 dead zombies: Nuclear powered chainsaw; Self-regenerating energy supply, and it's a freakin' chainsaw. What else is there to say?

There is no one perfect weapon. You need a combination.

For crowd control and rushes you want something with a high rate of fire akin to an uzi or similar that allows for a nice spray of shots.

You want something with range and stopping power.

You definitely need at least a pistol or two.

I yield to all the vg gun nuts out there who know specified model numbers better than I.

a light, durable and effective melee weapon for when shit gets real hairy is a must. such as a gladius, machette or a light foot and a half long steel pipe wrapped in black tape for grip works.

/forgets what he was saying and starts up L4D2

Sunflowers and various types of pea plants. I can beat ANY horde with those. Unless the horde is on the roof of my house, in which case I need sunflowers, cabbages, watermelons, and corn.

I want to say flamethrower, but there's the issue of limited fuel and that makes me sad. I guess a combo of a flamethrower and a light melee weapon with good range.

Well I'd say a combination of the shotgun and a sniper rifle shotgun at a close range and if at night when the zombies start raiding I could take some out from a distance with the sniper. Both are "one shot, one kill" weapons if used correctly.

Any assault rifle with a shotgun AND grenade launcher attachment under the barrel. The ultimate all-purpose weapon. Assault rifle for medium-long range, shotgun for short range, grenade launcher for crowds.

While the explosions might not be effective for destroying the brain, they would likely destroy the body enough to prevent the brain having any effect other than constantly thinking RARGH BRAINS.

I was thinking to go with an FN P90 had I ever been able to get one, probably will need to be in Belgium for that one XD

hrmm other than that? I was thinking for up close and personal a crowbar since its pretty useful as well for getting things open.

Grenades might not be an effective tools to destroys zombie's brains, but i figure a good underhand roll could destroys a lot of zombie's legs, might not kill them, but they'd be a lot slower.

There are so many good melee weapons it's so hard to choose. Crowbar is good, but Axe is probably to heavy for me to use it effectively.

For guns,I'm prefer SMG myself,I'm not a trained soldier,so i probably couldn't hit anything. MP5 will do the trick. I'm not as good with the handgun though.

You know, plants might work too, might as well ask the guys at Popcap how to grow a pea shooting plants.

I'll take every zombie thread ever made, compress it all together and I'll have the most dense sharp sword ever.
