I was such a big of ZOE 2 fan that I think Kojima should stop MGS for now

And make ZOE 3 at least, or maybe a 4th one after that. Then return to MGS. Personally I have never liked MGS as a series. Especially in MGS 4, if I got caught, I could kill them no problem. Meanwhile, it is supposed to be a stealth action game.

So what are your opinions.

Konami is a company and does not pander to individuals, but rather, shareholders and potential and plausible returns.

Thus the odds of a ZOE sequel at this juncture is unlikely.

Kojima has been talking about making another ZOE for a while. He certainly has interest in the series, and I remember in a magazine interview with him (either OPM or GameInformer) that he does get asked about it often enough that he's been giving it serious thought.

That said, I think TuringTest is right. The odds of another sequel right now *is* pretty unlikely.

Not being as popular doesn't make it a cult series. I may have missed something but the series never seemed to have the type of following I usually associate with a cult following.

DOTA was a cult game, before someone made it popular
Heck for a while COD was a cult game before it got big with MW

Never played the 2nd one but I remember the first being way ahead of it's time. It was great game (also, it came with a MGS2 demo).

Well, there was a third Zone of the Enders game, but The Fist of Mars was only on GBA, and was a strategy/action game rather than... whatever the other two were classed as.
Still, I'd love it if Konami released another ZotE game, onto the newest generation of consoles. Both of them.
If they'd only release it on one, that is their mistake, and I'd dislike them because of it.
