It would be nice if he would browse the forums a bit and converse with his fans.
If I had fans as whiny as some of these, I wouldn't want to come to the forums either.

Ok, true; but he's a witty guy, and I've love to see him banter back and forth with people. Surely he could come in and debate once in a while, or at least let us know if he does lurk the forums?

That's why I never post comments on the ZP videos - all it is there for is so his followers can say "OMG Good one!". I do love to read the first 5 or so and see how many are banned within the first few minutes of a video being posted.

Yes, yes it has. Your not the only one amigo, ZP has trully reached it's end. Let's face it, the jokes stopped being funny and became repetative/old matearil but with different pattersn slapped on it. Yahtzee himselfe went from a reviewer to a simple ranting troll who has an ego the size of Germany.
No he hasn't. Its hard for him to come up with ideas for a rant on games when dibshit fans spam him and he has to make an episode every week. Also germany isn't that big, second there has been like a million of these polls, and third he is only using it to make money, in an interview yahtzee would much rather make games that review them. If you all think he is losing his edge stop watching it. Zp is what brought me to the escapist and its why I'm staying here.

Your watching the same format over and over again, of course its going to stop be funny eventually. Its like watching 40 romantic comedies in a row, you know what going to happen, but its whats in the middle that slightly changes (worst analogy evar?)

The freshness is gone. It's still funny most of the time, if less shocking. If you don't like it then don't watch it. Ideally, I'd like to see Yahtzee, although not outright abandon his little show, move on to more substantive writing. I'm not familiar with the rest of his work, but being snarky only works so long and I'd like to see him contribute something to gaming beyond a bunch of insults and metaphors for feces.

If I'm lucky, the fad will end and The Escapist will slow down a little bit. I'm tired of the lack of community on this site - it's one of the only places I've been where people with hundreds or even thousands of posts are still more or less unknown. Less traffic means a steadier user base.

Make games? I woulden't trust that bastard with a fucking FLASH program, rather than game makeing. Not only he fails at 'reviweing' games, he fails at 'makeing' 'em. Yes, his game sucks balls on all major levels of suckage. Also the reason people still watch it is to see if Yahtzee will stop being a hack and will again become funny, and seems it's not gonna happen any time soon. And if he doesn't wanna have so called 'diptshits' spamming him, how bout he..Oooh, I don't know...Stops giving his fucking email adress, hmmm? Or change it? Didn't he ever think of that?

I still enjoy ZP, I thought the farcry 2 and GOW2 reviews where very amusing. The earlier ones are funnier yes, but Yahtzee still has a long way to go before he has 'lost his edge'

I still find Mr. Croshaw to be funny. And I imagine that if he continues to evolve as an artist, his writing will as well. Besides, he's the only thing that made Game Damage amusing, inciteful, and interesting.

Oddly, it's the really "edged" reviews that I don't like as much. I think he's as funny as ever. Halo Wars was just as funny as, say, Sim City Societies (another of my favorites). Some may be funnier than others, but there's only one review I actually disliked (Madworld, and not for humor-related reasons).
