You do realize pipelines can be destroyed like the Nordstream one, trains are not as efficient as ships, and ships have to traverse various checkpoints guarded by the US navy.
That's an interesting non-sequitur, what do pipelines have to do with anything?

Ah, yes, the debt, I guess we're going to war against senior citizens in the US and Japan again.
It helps if you don't name drop a country that's specifically attempting to re-normalize and strengthen relations with China in the face of an increasingly politically and economically unstable US.

Oops.

Better kill grandmom than that geopolitical enemy of ours with her baked cookies.
A more sarcastic and cynical person than I would certainly make note that Republicans, as currently led by MAGA and Trump, are hellbent for leather to eliminate Social Security, Medicare, SNAP, and funding for disease and disorder research that primarily affects elders. And to date, some of the Trump administration's heaviest-handed attacks outside immigration have been against precisely those programs. Which is perfectly in line with the Nazi "unnutze esser"/"lebensunwertes leben" rhetoric coming directly from the mouths of RFK, Jr, and Dr. Oz among other prominent Trump administration officials.

If someone would make note of this, they'd certainly argue "kill grandma, since grandma is an economic parasite" is as close to a stated goal as one can get. But alas, I'm not.

Pipelines are part of the Belt and Road initiative. China wants to avoid sea-lane routes to avoid the US Navy.

Edit: Generally speaking

Tell me when China, SK, and Japan are in an actual military alliance, and there's a snowball's chance in hell Japan will dump Us treasuries for Chinese goods when Japan relies on the US navy for Gulf State Oil shipments to Japan through the Malacca Strait chokepoint, the US Swift/banking sanctions that would come afterwards, and the fact that the US also buys Japenese goods.

Not to mention the US makes most of the military fighter jets the Japanese military uses.

Also, Japan, China, and SK all hate each other. It's in their literal history, stained with blood.

Edit: Also, Japan wants to defend Taiwan even more than the US believes it or not given the island's geopolitical importance. If China controlled it, they could block EU, and energy from the West of the Malacca Strait.

That's weird since the road in the belt and road initiative is sea lanes, and building up ports for maritime transport, and of course your whole argument is predicated on the idea that the west is just going to bomb random country's infrastructure for no good reason.

Alright, that's a fair cop, however it would just demonstrate further why the world should abandon the US for China. Again, you're stuck in this rabidly aggressive mindset that China isn't following to their great success. These allies aren't here to fight the US in some war you have a raging hardon for, it's where all the future energy is going to come from, and the west is going to be late to the party because China's already there and on top of it. You're never going to get your fighter jet war to show off how cool the F-35 is. The F-35 is junk, it's useless. Not because it can't do what it advertises, but because it's intended use case isn't particularly relevant to politics.

War is politics by another means. But by means, don't fight with the US, the West, and their major non-NATO allies, the US pours money into India, which has better demographics than China, and China still loses. Also, I don't know for 100% that the US will even use the F-35 itself, it may sell some to India, and have India and Japan fight China. While the US serves a support role.

China has no choice but to fight for Taiwan, because without it, the US and allies can interdict Chinese ships heading to North China.

Only in NATO fantasies. As Eacaraxe points out, the modern political MAD is debt, and China has a big dead man's switch. At no point will there be a big shooting war anywhere to show off the effectiveness of this equipment. All it is is money lining the pockets of executives, they provide nothing meaningful to politics. Iran is blowing Israel to bits to the point where Israelis are fleeing their country and their legislature has to clamp down on how bad they're getting bombed, and Iran is doing it through Israel's jet fleet. They don't matter. None of it matters. Your masturbatory ad you posted above is just that, masturbatory.

Every scenario you post is in the context of an open shooting total war scenario with China, but we're not in an open shooting total war with China. There's no indication we'll ever be. And if we're not in that context, then all your posts are fantasy. You're living in an alternate reality.

No, the MAD is nukes, not random debt for high-demand US treasuries and bonds. China doesn't even own most of the US debt, that's social security, and Japan for the foreign debt.

How is Iran blowing up Israel to bits, they are getting people no doubt, but Israel can roam free in Iranian airspace, blow up whatever they want, and theires talk of the Shah's fucking son coming in, and doing a regime change, they are winning. And both sides censor not just Israel, Israel's just more cohesive with its nationalistic population.

By the way, I don't care if Iran has nukes, because they are likely going to just MAD with Israel vs the US, and they can still be couped imploded like the USSR, it will just take longer.

As for lining the pockets, every country has this problem. Guess what, well-connected and rich people like money. China, for example, is full of this. Despite being more democratic, Hu's faction is more corrupt, while Xi, being more aggressive with his foreign policy and R&D focused, is less corrupt. The UK's corrupt too, so is France, and Germany.

I don't even want the US to fully win the second cold war or crush China. I want the US to have a reliable, competent opponent/rival until we can colonize space. The US isn't made for total victories. Look at the Cold War 1, where the US won, and got into Iraq, and Afghanistan, and let their guard down on 9/11. The US can't just invent new software forever. We aren't desk jockeys who stare at spreadsheets and IDEs all day.

Look at the Cold War 1 vs World War 2, vs. Manifest Destiny. When the US fought the Soviet Union, it made many inventions like the internet with its allies, so did the soviets. When the US won the Second World War, it created the UN, an important international institution. And most importantly, the US wasn't gifted with CONUS. It had to fight the English, French, Spanish, Mexicans, and even the native Americans. It had to fight for its land, not unlike Israel.

The US and Co. are best fighting on one side, or just conquering unknown lands that they weren't in. While other countries are fighting racism, some still lack a conversation on it. If the US succeeds in racism, and unlocks its full potential, and maybe links up with Canada and Mexico, we could win in Space and the digital roam.

Huh... suddenly Israel thinks that bombing a hospital is a War Crime (even if the reason the hospital was hit was sound waves from the missiles hitting the military complex you put right next to the hospital).

But hey, I'm in full agreement Israel. Any country aiming missiles at hospitals should be hammered and the leaders should be charged for crimes against humanity. Might be the first time I agree with Israel.

Damn, that's a lotta words.

Too bad I ain't reading 'em they're divorced from the reality of the world, and now your previous posts. Who cares if Israel is in Iranian airspace? It doesn't matter. That won't topple the Iranian regime. Just like how Iran blowing Israel to rubble won't topple Israel and Israel demolishing Gaza didn't take out Hamas. These machines change nothing, they do nothing. And even for what they do do, missiles and cheap drones are better.

And China is still winning over all.

Missiles aren’t better than fighter jets. Fighter jets can reload and missiles can’t. And there’s reports of the Ayatollah bunker getting shot at in OSINT circles. Cheap drones are way too easy to get shot down, ironically expensive 6th gen AI powered drones would be the best but they aren’t here yet. Also the US military literally created a missile cheaper than the Shahed drones and Anduril and Lockheed created a missile cheaper than most Chinese paramilitary ships and some civilian vessels as well at 150-200K.

And just because I don’t want the US to fully destroy its enemies so that it can innovative against its enemies longer doesn’t mean it’s not happening. China has high unemployment among the youth vs the US, Iran can’t protect its military and nuclear
sites. It’s S300 sites are blown to shit. Jets are better than missiles either surface to surface or surface to air since they can dodge and move faster.

And yet missiles and shitty drones have Israel on the backfoot, because they blow up buildings good.

Everything else is masturbation

You know what's even more important than buildings, missiles, and even jet fighters? People. Israel has lost random civilians, and a lot fewer than Iran, which has had decapitation strike after decapitation strike of its upper-level leadership, military officials, and nuclear scientists. As we speak, there are reports that even the Ayatollah is dead. I don't see Netanyahu dying anytime soon, or any of his cabinet. Again, not my favorite country, but the facts are the facts. And no country that has a leadership that is dying in droves, much more than the other side, can claim it has won the war. Is Gaza winning, did the Nazi win vs the allies in 1945. What a ridiculous argument. Just admit your side lost. If Trump and his entire cabinet are getting killed by Chinese H-20 bombers or, in the future, Newsom or whoever, I will admit the US is losing.

And at the end of the day, why even go to bat for IRGC-led Iran, or CPC led China? These aren't places where people go to immigrate to; they don't win Nobel prizes, don't have high median income, or even a good civil society. You're likely either a Western citizen, or you're using technology created in the West, of which a large portion was from the US. Hell, I am guessing you're in an English-speaking country as we speak. The only reason I go to bat for the US here is to improve my writing and argumentative skills, and because I know the US will win, and since I analyze stuff, it's basically practice for me.

If you want to claim victory in your fantasy land, where the Ayatollah is dead (I've seen nothing to even hint that he is), go for it. I can only show you the facts of the world, I can't make you realize them. Enjoy playing NATO dressup general, but I suggest going back to HOI.

The Express is a British tabloid rag that I don't think I've ever seen be right about anything. A US branch of that rag has to be a few steps down from that.
No, you're right on that...

SWIFT was founded in Belgium and the US does not control it. It has one voice out of 10 in its operation. It does not sanction China and it would not sanction Japan if Japan made an allience with China.

And the US has already implemented enough tariffs to kill the US market for Japan anyway.
