Pokemon could have a schedule/routine during the day, the game would be timed and you'd be task with snaping certain events. So say one of the task you'd have would be to "snap a picture of group of Tauros drinking at the stream" you'd need to find where the stream is and when the group of Tauros would go there and you'd need to be there ahead of time so you don't spoke them by getting close to them.
To get the the best score you'd need to plot you're route to capture as many of the special event as possible in the time frame allotted while setting up rare event to happen. So maybe if you get close to the Tauros they get spoke and run away, but maybe you can spoke them so they run toward a group of Arcanine who then hunt them and you can snap that for a big score.
