If Kanye is just doing this as publicity for the new album it better live up to its name cause the last two solo endeavors have been forgettable.

Also if Kanye does run he doesn't have to worry about rights to campaign songs he can just use his own. I suggest Harder Better Faster Stronger or lets roll the 2020 gambit and he some how wins and this the victory song.
He's been going downhill since 2009. Mike Shinoda, Jaden Smith, Shing02, and many others run infinite circles around that ass bag.

Ok I can not agree with 2009 because My Beautiful Dark and Twisted Fantasy dropped in 2010. Everything solo from Kanye since Life of Pablo have been lack luster as hell. His production for Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, and especially when he teams up with Kid Cudi to form Kids See Ghost match made in heaven. Ye and Jesus is King were just wack and I will cosign to that.

But man you dropped Jaden Smith. I only know of that one song off of Into the Spiderverse and that one weird Batman song so I won't talk shit but has is discography expanded.

Late 09 was when I just stopped giving a shit, and the whole thing with Taylor Swift was the final straw for me. I was already fed up by that point. The fact he still never shuts the fuck up! Not a Swift fan, but I do like and respect her as a person.

Yes. He has expanded quite a lot actually.

Not every single song is a hit with me, but I find his stuff more interesting and entertaing than whatever shit Kanye puts out nowadays. Jaden has clearly made a name for himself and is out of his father's shadow as far as I am concerned. What I like about some of his songs is that he clearing taking some inspiration from the Gorillaz. It's most noticeable in Lost Boys.

With Taylor Swift thing I thought it was mostly stupid even though I agreed that Single Ladies should got the award watching Kanye go on stage uncheck with too much Henny was mostly funny as shit. I will that goof fuck asshole Kanye over this too far gone Kanye.

Now I do remember the song with Kid Cudi. I didn't know that was Jaden's song thought it was Cudis with some random feature.

I've never given a shit about Kanye. The first time he ever came on my radar was him talking about how George Bush hates black people, and every iteration of him just gets more mentally unstable. He's fucking insane, and he's got what I consider the most terrifying combination of disorders. A mind that can't comprehend reality on multiple levels, coupled with a deep religious belief, that manifests into his narcissism and egomania. Fueling him into thinking he's simultaneously a champion of the invisible person he worships, and greater than them.

He's a batshit crazy asshole that everyone should just ignore, and stop feeding his mania.

For earlier reference, the last time I ever enjoyed a song from Kanye was in 2006/07. After that he became barely bareable background noise. Every time he opened his yapper, this came to mind:

My imagination conjured that up so many times.

That's the main problem. He always made it about himself, even when the situation has nothing to do with him. The mother-fucker was not even close to drunk. Just a sad, pathetic, excuse to make himself feel better. Neither songs should not have won, but does not matter to me. Believe or not, but I always hated Single Ladies. It was heartwarming seeing Beyonce comfort Taylor. They're both better persons than Kanye could ever hope to be.

Reality is now in a permanent state of satire.
Mhm, that it is. I feel like we're in a sequel to The Onion Movie and the people on the other side of the screen are going "lol, this is too unrealistic, no way this could ever happen"

My imagination conjured that up so many times.
That's much better of a conjuration than mine. For me, I just see my brother who in his manic states of religious insanity, tried to kill my parents, and then later threatened to rip my arms and legs off, because the Archangel Michael came to him and told him some blah blah bullshit. Oh and demons are able to enter our reality through corners....just as weird as it sounds...corners. So like, ANY corner, where 2 planes meet, is a potential entry point, leading him to scribble some bastardized hebrew lettering on all the corners of his various places he's lived. Like, the lightswitch by his door? Symbol in the corner. Wall outlet? Symbol in the corner. Any letter he writes to you? On both the envelope and letter itself, symbol in the corner.

That's all I see when I see Kanye's face. A guy who isn't actually processing reality, and has the look of a guy who is one misfired neuron away from going off on the nearest human he can find with the nearest sharp/blunt object.

But hey it's ok! Because he believes in GeeeZUS ya'll! So whatever else is wrong with him is forgiven and ignored!! *rolls eyes*

Sometimes I think Simulation Thoery might actually be right. Somehow we're in a glitched simulation and the glitches are just getting worse over time. It's only a matter of time before the whole thing goes Blue Screen of Death and we have to reboot the whole server.

It’s like in Superman comics it used to be treated as a truly outlandish idea that Lex Luthor would ever be elected president. And yet after the past decade or so I imagine most readers would consider Luthor a step (or three) above the latest few incumbents.

Luthor and Trump have quite a lot in common, really. Both prideful, egocentric, petty and only in it for self-aggrandizement .

Difference is, if someone were to criticize Luthor for mishandling or neglecting a problem, he would devote his considerable mental prowess to solving that problem effectively and in record time. Not because he cares about the problem, but simply to spite his opponents. Whereas Trump throws bitchfits on Twitter.

I honestly don't know if I would prefer Kanye, or Trump.

They both fit into the same demographic of "self important idiot", but as far as I am aware, I don't think Kanye has been accused of any sort of sexual misconduct, so I guess he at least has that point over Trump.

To be frank, though, I don't see this as any serious bid, at all. If Kanye was serious, he would have done this months ago. I believe I read somewhere that a lot of states are now closed to new polling applicants(?), and those that are still open, now have tiny windows to get their applications through. If this is true, then either Kanye is an idiot, or he is just doing this as some kind of publicity stunt.

Compared to Trump or Kanye West, I'd sooner have Bison, Shang Tsung, or Dr. Robotnik in charge. Similar to Lex, they have actual brains.

Speaking of Lex:

Not to take jokes too seriously, but to make a serious question out of the tangent, are you basing this statement on having someone "in charge", or are you considering a balance of powers in the assessment, and which way would balancing power push your assessment?

I'm inclined to think power split among branches is better capable of managing stupid than it is smart + evil.

You seriously think any one of the three will want a balance of power? All three of them would have the my way or the highway attitude. Especially if we're talking about Shang Tsung. They would certainly try to betray each other. At best, the most merciful person will probably be Doctor Robotnik (I mainly referring the games continuity only). He might work within the system at first, but he will make sure that will change and no time flat. Because for him, it's all about the Eggman Empire. All you get from Bison is whether he remembers Tuesday or not.
