Well, yeah, actually. Back when nobody was taking it seriously and I had a good few month supply of stuff coming along.
There were video leaks from Wuhan, mostly in the hospital, when it was overwhelmed. People collapsing in the hallways, overworked staff, that one Chinese doctor that blew the lid off it and then got "disappeared". It could be the case of wonky memory though. The idea of framing this as racist is really funny to me, it was the wuhan flu because it was first spotted in wuhan. Which is why I mentioned the Spanish flu, since the same thing happened there.

I haven't called you racist, merely ignorant, I'm assuming you're simply unaware of the way these kinds of terminologies are used to push political agendas and giving you the benefit of the doubt, however you might want to check your news sources they're likely biased politically in some way as they keep using that sort of terminology instead of the official terminology.
Coronavirus is a family of viruses - they can have lots of different effects depending on strain.
I don't actually. I talk about the Great Flu Pandemic of 1918. But I don't refer to it as Spanish flu. Scientists don't classify viruses that way either. I figure the bare minimum I could do is not perpetuate a historical misconception.
No disagreement that I have been getting increasingly radical over the last 4 years. Though that's largely the product of disillusionment upon seeing just how deeply rooted this broken system goes and the understanding that it is impossible to truly escape from it. Though by European standards, I'm actually a pretty unspectacular, boilerplate leftist. Which more than one person who was born and raised across the pond have been very un-shy about telling me.
Everything in language is inherently political buddy, whether you like it or not, the words you use communicate your character, here regardless of your intentions using that specific terminology for the virus implies xenophobic inclinations.
The deeply rooted broken system isn't real. Reality is messy and problematic, and people work with mixed success to fix those problems; the people convincing you it's somehow all the system's fault have an agenda. Don't victim blame the entire species.
Well it can be called whatever, I don't particularly care, I'm just explaining that what you decide to call it is not free of consequence, it's unfortunate that many people here seem to be too foolish to understand that, though if we're honest some are being duplicitous rather than foolish.
The system is real; parts of it are arguably "broken" and which people have no interest in fixing.
When you choose your words poorly, it undermines your own credibility. And the fact that you're getting this bent out of shape over it only makes it worse.
