According to the city, 11 positive cases of COVID-19 have stemmed from 'pre-debate planning and set-up.' The city adds that the majority of those 11 cases have occurred among out of state residents. No city residents appear to have contracted coronavirus as a result of the debate, but that could still change.

The Clinic added that everyone permitted inside the debate hall tested negative for COVID-19 prior to entry.

Now while you can get a false negative it does suggest it started from the debate not the Rose Garden event as you'd not expect quite that many false negatives.

On one hand, we have a candidate who follows Scientifically laid out procedures. Minimum to null reported infections.

On the other, we have an incumbent who flouted all the rules, and there is a mini-outbreak happening in their camp.

And there are voters who still say "Trump isn't to blame for the virus. Nothing could be done"

I think a lot of you believe that I'm blind to the world. That mainly the answer is malice or indifference. I'm not blind. What I am is wondering why they can't just admit it? They look actually dumber trying to pretend it's anything but their desire to stick it to the liberals or that they want to be catered to. At least you can respect that self centeredness.

There is no clearer evidence of what Trump did than this entire election. Just have the courage to admit that you're indifferent to actual human life and you want a president to focus solely on you and making you feel important. It's better to be considered selfish than it is to be considered stupid.

2) Trump getting it and Biden not (reminder they both were distanced apart and both weren't wearing masks for the debate) and weren't seen interacting with the audience members on their side other than their wives after the debate.

3) The article points out it was likely from an out of state organiser working on the debates thought to be patient zero for this little outbreak .

It could be reasonably assumed it was some-one who met the Republican side or worked with them back stage as specifically only Republicans are infected here.

Look I'd like to dunk on Trump and Co too and say that this is some great proof of their flouting rules coming back to bite them but it could well just be because the Patient Zero almost exclusively interacted with Trump's party. Thus more chances to catch it and mask wearing (which it's alleged Trump and Co were doing upon entering and you can see Melania wearing her mask too at the end of the debates) didn't have anything to do with this or far less to do with it.

The mask isn't a magic stop all. It helps but it won't stop it dead and so a spreader being about round only Republicans mostly would mean that yeh even if they were masked up there could have been an outbreak.

Worse still everyone tested negative before going in so this was likely a false negative test which also gave a false sense of security because everyone in there thought everyone (including staff) were not a risk.

Trump's blame is the blame he always should get. For being a fool but it's also the leeway he should get because he likely really doesn't get it but his yammering about cleaning lights inside people etc were because people were trying to get him to understand and he was seemingly trying to grasp the ideas.

I keep telling people to stop worrying about it for now. He is sick. It is likely he will get worse before he gets better. He is an idiot, so he is more worried about people thinking he is weak and so he does stupid shit putting everyone else at risk for no reason whatsoever. He doesn't care if anyone else dies from getting sick from him, because he doesn't care about anyone other than himself. He is very unlikely to actually die from this simply due to the level of care he is able to get that no one else can, people are just overreacting as usual. I am sure the NFL players who have receive supplemental oxygen on the sidelines are looking at people freaking out about it with their heads cocked sideways wondering WTF is wrong with people getting all worked up about something that really isn't a big deal in the first place.

Hell many people in his condition cannot even get a hospital bed and people are worried every time they dote on him. He is getting special treatment, like I said earlier. No one else gets the level of treatment he does. I take medications to raise my oxygen levels daily and Tylenol is also a drug to artificially lower your fever and everyone takes that when they are sick too... I don't understand why people are making a bigger deal of this than it is.

It didn't look like there was separation in the video of his driving by, he also had someone in the back seat with him. I am sure there is on some of his vehicles, not all though. ALSO, I do not think the car has a separate air conditioning system for the front and back so it wouldn't matter either way. The air is being circulated inside the vehicle since it is sealed from chemical attack from the outside means there is no outside air coming in. They are all likely breathing the same air inside the vehicle.
