If the President is able to fulfill his presidential duties, then why shouldn't he allowed back in the White House? It's not like CDC recommendations are laws.
I don't think anybody's job entitles them to put employees at unnecessary risk of ill-health.
To an extent, all the bigwigs in the White House can decide for themselves - assuming of course they also isolate. Although given the past record of the elites in the USA, UK and other places I don't fancy the chances they will. Take Rand Paul: met someone infected, suspects he might therefore be infected and takes a test, and whilst waiting for the result goes to the Senate gym to splatter his covid-19 germs all over the place despite being in a workplace full of old men who are therefore high risk. He's got a medical degree, for heaven's sakes, how can he not know better? We'd put our medical students up before a fitness to practice hearing for that sort of stunt.
I'm more bothered about people like the cleaning staff, plenty probably on about $10 an hour. They shouldn't have to put up with that. Whilst their workplace is swilling with infection, they should be allowed to sit at home on full pay and they can come in again in a few weeks when it's clear.
Some basic respect for other people shouldn't be so hard to expect.
