I do it when I'm writing all the time. I'll read aloud as I'm writing it, and sometimes comment out loud too, saying something like "no, that doesn't sound right" and whatnot. It really helps transition when you're actually speaking it and not just writing/typing sentence after sentence.

I'm one of those people who picked up a cello book as a kid and took the musical knowledge from that and taught myself to play the cello, piano, guitar, banjo, accordion, harmonica, viola, and whatever other instruments my family had sitting around. I still can't sing though. :(

My playstyle is always "friends first, allies next, then me." (unless the allies are bots) That's just how I play, thanks to the Battlefield series.
