I'm always hesitant to listen to videogame-inspired music because they usually end up mentioning mechanics or about how much they liked or didn't like the game. But this song was beautiful. I love that someone without any knowledge of Bioshock can still find the lyrics poetic.

Even though Max had a semi-constipated grimace in the first game, I prefer his face in that one. His second face felt too generic for me. I don't know how to explain it... Okay, it sounds almost embarrassingly sentimental, but any time I complete a good game I experience a haunting moment. It's like... the characters I've spent so much time with are done... their story is over and I'll never be able to experience it again the same way. It's even worse (better?)...

They used to give us crackers to go with tomato soup in elementary school in Minnesota. We would crumble them into pieces while they were in the wrapper and then open it over the soup. :3

Seconding The Void. I still don't think I really understand what the Void was all about; my best interpretation of it is a metaphor for the creative process. But I'm also nominating Pathologic despite all of its horribleness. Though I think The Void was fucking beautiful and had much MUCH better...

Keep a bunch of saves, this was the game that taught me not to have only 2 saves at a time. D: There is a patch out there, but the game can still be pretty buggy. Putting points in wisdom really helps no matter what class you are.

Deathclaws aren't so bad at high levels and with a dart gun, and Overlords were murder until I started shooting the weapon out of their hands. But the Reavers... oh god the Reavers. Pure evil. Everytime I see one I make a D: face. And maybe cry a little.
