I am man enough to admit that I love the show. How could anyone argue your position, when your position is "take away the show's gimmick and it's just a show". That is like saying "take away the Wii's motion control and it's just a console."

For the most part, I look at my activity online in the same way as I do my IRL activities. It's generally not acceptable to be a jerk when you are dealing with people you don't know, but if you are 'among friends', as it were, then you can be a bit of a jerk but only in for the humour factor...
