I admit I don't like it when there's too much brown/grey so it all goes muted, but after playing some of the more colourful tracks on WipEout HD, I do prefer the crisp white tracks with details on them. It's a fine line the developers need to make.

I think it was in one of the Splinter Cell games that Sam asks his boss 'Three Alarms and I'm Out?' to which the chief replies 'Of course not, Sam. This isn't a video game!' In the first two games, setting off three alarms caused the mission to fail.
