I pretty much agree with everything said and more. I honestly can't believe that you fight the same 1 bad guy character model when you start the game as you do when you finish it.
Subbed in 90% of cases, if I'm bored and just wanting to only half watch something (which means I'm probably playing games while I do it, I'll go for dubbed)
Its no different than any other such claim...its usually based in fact, for example I have no doubt that the HDRL could not be done in the same fashion on the 360...I also have no doubt that had their been a desire, the game could have easily been made functional on the 360... albeit perhaps...

Even if it wasn't a PC game, games still don't work like that. Game disks are not re-writable, lol...you can't change the game files on the disk. Anything he did would have been done to the install files. So yes, I did read the OP.
Why would returning the game help at all? Indeed, it would still be just as fucked up with a brand new copy.
I don't know how to fix the problem and keep the game uncensored, but just to get it back to playable you can uninstall, delete your L4D folder and re-install.
