Different modes of multiplayer, I'm sure that some developers out have some new ideas other than "hey, lets try and kill everybody as fast as we can" I'm not ragging on the multiplayer we already have, just asking for more varied ideas.
Yeah, Valve has never steered me wrong before. Although the console would take 300 years to make and that is a date set before people heard that it was being cancelled, for the first time of many.
Some people are just too stupid to use the signal, but there are also those assholes who turn the signal on as they are halfway through the lane change. Bunch of dead beats, the signal is there to alert other drivers that you are changing lanes. I blame public education...
I got Red Faction Guerrilla for very cheap and I wasn't expecting much, but the destruction physics were so good that it made wrecking shit fun. Take that, Mars.
Instead of making you pay out the ass for rather worthless DLC like most companies do, TF2 is constantly updating which keeps it fun for everybody, and the updates have really changed the game. TF2 has changed so much from day 1 that it always feels unique.
The opening level of half life 2 after you get off the train. The mood of that part was excellent and really did a good job of foreshadowing the slightly unnerving events that come later.

I don't know, I haven't played New Vegas, but the lack of closure did take something away from the experience. I think it goes without saying that Fallout 3 is a good game, but I definitely can see why some people would think it had rather poor writing, not that Bethesda is known for writing...
