I don't believe it would be only the achievement because we've all known about that for a while. That however leaves two options of an ingame reward or (for the xbox360/PS3) an avatar item.

I can't wait to read more. I've noticed that often with those games that have been "gutted" the DLC codes are missing. Most of the time you can ask for a wrapped copy and you'll get one, unless they're out.

Another thing to try, I was just reading. Take off the face-plate, carefully. :P Grab a pin and insert it in the pinhole on the disk tray to open it manually. Once you do this open it fully, close it, place the faceplate back on and give it a shot. It's a long shot, but it might work. :)...
