    Daily Drop: Billy the Bass

End of Daily drop?!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!. Sigh, but at the same time, that just means more fun shows will pop up. Perhaps even an idea just like the Daily Drop since the show, in my opinion, was a great success.

Extra Punctuation: Pokemon 100 Percenters Are Mad

Ha! I laughed when I read this, thus compelled to type it too. I remember when red and blue first came out, I was really into getting everything just so I could see what happens in the end. I followed the rules, played the two games, and traded like crazy until finally I got all 150 (151 if...

    Console Gaming

I really like the conversation, you guys. Good talk. It's still hard to say whether or not these peripherals are here to stay. I wonder what other arcade attraction will end up mass produced for the home.

    Daily Drop: Ground Coffee

It must be really fun to own that camera....

    Topical Tuesday: Be a Composer!

There's a lot of stuff that would be nice to change, for fun or for better. I may add another one in here but I'll start off with the Star wars games. As much as I love the music composed by John Williams, he actually designed the music to react with what is going on on the movie screen...

The Escapist Presents: Live Chat with Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw

You know what's funny? A lot of the questions were stuff that people already knew. I mean most people know the man for "Zero Punctuation", and of course the "Extra Punctuation". Who ever came up with the questions left me asking, "Do you even watch Zero Punctuation?" Yahtzee is a...

139: X-Com: The Truth Is Out There

Ah, X Com. So very well thought out. Very fun and challenging AI, pulsing music that is simple and works for the game. I go back to this game all the time. If I see anything new or recreated from this without any of the details messed up or milked like crazy, I'll enjoy it. If someone were...

Activision Getting "Little to No Compensation" In Brutal Legend Deal

Interesting, you won't hear me say thanks to EA too often. Part way it looks like they were the middle man at the right place and time. Now we just need to see what happens to the game. Something tells me this isn't over yet until it actually releases...and even then who knows what'll happen.

Metalocalypse Game Coming to XBLA, PSN

Hey, I got a better idea, how about get one of their soundtracks, and go play something else that's more fun while listening to the music?

    Boss music

There are just too many out there that I love, so I'm just going to name ones that comes to mind. There were a couple boss battle themes in Legend of Mana, they were spectactular. Heck, every boss battle theme that Yoko Shimamura worked on was great from Super Mario Rpg to Kingdom Hearts. I...

Why More Games Should Look to Secret of Evermore

I did like this game, and I still do, but the one thing that bothered me especially after playing Secret of Mana was that another player couldn't be the dog. It was a single player game. Thinking about it in the perspective of companionship with man and dog, it possibly could have removed me...

    206: Split|Screen

Good article. Feels like another soothsayer review but that's fine because it serves as a reminder to onlookers and developers that people, especially gamers, believe in "Fun". The Arcade gamer style has proven useful and successful in the past, especially with that "playing with literally...

Editor's Note: Parting the Digital Sea

As the musical "Wicked" dictates "No one moarns the wicked."

Legend of Zelda: The Missing Link (2player game for Wii, just an idea...)

It sounds neat on paper (or in this case typed) but there's a couple things that make Legend of Zelda great that would make it difficult to be a multiplayer experience, especially on a 3d platform. One of the perks of Legend of Zelda is having the ability to do whatever you want, go anywhere...

    183: Gaming The Brain

Tapping into that technology in games is actually a pretty interesting step (or the next step rather). I'm pretty sure there's a lot of research going into games using brainwaves as a controller. Makes one think though, what if a game read a person's brainwaves and it affected a game. Say...
