As much as I'd love a new good RTS C&C game (C&C3 was fun and RA3 was ridiculously fun IMO) I want to see a sequel to C&C Renegade, that series needs more love.
What nasty surprise? Offline mode at least has always worked for me. It IS true you need to be connected to the internet before going offline... once, it takes just a single log in and credentials save to be able to access your account offline for as long as you need to.

The way they handled backwards compatibility before and now is completely different. Early PS3s had PS2 hardware in them giving it 99% compatibility but placing the GS and EE was too expensive, currently they are using tweaked emulators/ports, and coding those isn't cheap as people have pointed out.
