There's plenty of ideas to be had with an old school shooter. For me and 'old-school FPS' means it has good old fashioned ammo and health systems, a good mix between realistic, semi-realistic and awesomely-unrealistic weaponry, fast paced movements and LOTS of hitting people before they die...

This is a real shame, it almost feels like cross-platform casual competition will never get off the ground if even Valve can't get it round the bends :(

Finally! :) I've been waiting for this game to be released for nearly two years now, after it was briefly shown off and picked up by some of the industry press. Hopefully it will be as much fun at it is atmospheric.
