I spent about 6 months on Oblivion... I've got enough unfinished games lying around, which is why I get stuff like MW3 first as I knew it would be done and dusted wthin 2 days. When I'm done with a lot of the stuff I want to finish first I'll get it, as otherwise I'll never get around to it.

There was an easy trick in Oblivion you could use prided you had Azura's star and Hatred's Heart (think that's what it's called, Daedric bow with slow enchantmement) Shoot to freeze whatever you're fighting, soul trap, kill, recharge bow, repeat... It removed the challenge from everything...
