That describes how I went into "Silent Hill." I had no idea that movie was based on a game until I got out of the theater. And before you jump on me, I don't and will never own a ps2 so keeping up with games for it would be pointless. At the time, I had bigger fish to fry than a game.

Whatever you do, don't let her play Descent. I don't think she'd be able to play it for more than five to ten seconds. Hell, I hardly ever get motion sickness and I have trouble with that game at times.

I'm also on an 8 meg broadband cable internet connection (cable direct to the box, not wireless). I figured I'd get the update done before most people had the chance to get home and swamp the servers.

Turned on my box at 5:40 am PST and updated with no probs. Only took about three minutes.
