I find it interesting that you're not interested in distinguishing between any amount of playing time over 20 hours per week (my personal record is 58 ... probably not a good thing). is that where you've chosen to qualify someone as a hardcore gamer?

the PS3 is compatible with steam, so if you get portal 2 on the PS3, you get it on your steam account, and thus can also install it on a PC

those specs shouldn't have a problem with source games (I don't know much about graphic cards, but mine only has 256 dedicated and I'm doing fine). as a comparison, I've been running source games, call of duty mw2, mass effect, and similar games, and I'm holding up: intel core 2 duo 2.0 GHz...

what about a game with only one main weapon, but with so many unlockable upgrades that you can customize it into every role? obviously it wouldn't work in a modern setting, but I think it's an interesting concept for a sci-fi fps.
