Did ME3 ruin Mass Effect for you?

Yes, absolutely, without question. I have no desire whatsoever to play anything placed in Mass Effect universe and will approach with extreme caution anything released by Bioware.

Obsidian's doing a Kickstarter, what are your thoughts?

Actually you might be interested in knowing that QA teams for both Alpha Protocol and Fallout: New Vegas were put in by publishers and answering directly to them and following their guidelines, not the developer's. Please inform yourself next time before saying something, saves dignity :).

Why do people completely ignore how great 98% of Mass Effect 3 was and just focus on the ending?

I'm pretty sure if you ordered another cake in your favourite restaurant and the final centre piece was nothing but poo, you would be talking to the chef exactly about that centre piece and nothing else.

The oldest game you still play to this day?

OpenTTD I believe, but since that is a mod, Broken Sword wins the round. +10 points for Planescape: Torment -5 for messing up the name

Poll: Best Female Non-Player Character ever?

Kreia, for very obvious reasons and I'm actually shocked she hasn't been mentioned in the poll, since she is one of the most developed, complex and unpredictable character in gaming history. Maybe Fall-From-Grace, for being the only succubus with a journal :). Captcha: pandora's box You...

Deus Ex Collection on sale this weekend on Steam!

Yes, yes, yes! Both Deus Ex games for £9.99? No-brainer. I will certainly purchase it.

Poll: Deus Ex HR, or ME3, which should I get?

I will try to aswer the way you asked: There is no reason to pick Mass Effect 3 over Deus Ex: Human Revolution, however there are many reasons to pick DE:HR over ME3. Take HR now and once Bioware releases less awful ending, finish ME3 if you want.

    What's your favorite game?

*Puts Planescape: Torment on the first page of the thread*. Planescape: Torment, even after all these years, it's probably the only game (with Syberia being damn close) that I can always go back to and play. If there is anything like a spirit in a game, this one has it. One can only hope it will...

What kickstarters would You like to see....."kickstarted"? lmao

Well obviously Planescape: Torment 2, but considering the rather complicated license situation, the next in line are spiritual successors to 2D point&click adventures. Grim Fandango, Gabriel Knight, Broken Sword 1&2 (there are no other Broken Swords as far as I'm concerned), Full Throttle...

Guild Wars 2 Upcoming Beta - What do you plan to do first?

I plan to try to find bugs, as people should do in gee I don't know.....a Beta?

Mass Effect 3 is now under $30 is it really that bad of a game?

Oh it isn't a bad game by any stretch (Dragon Age 2 was a bad game for example), however the ending for many people, me included, drastically overshadowes any good segments ME3 has. Would you happily recall memories of a great theme park if they promised you an icecream at the end, but after...

I get why Dragon Age 2 gets lousy user reviews.

Dragon Age 2 had lousy reviews because: 1) publisher did't "encourage" reviewers enough to provide "desired" opinions 2) it was actually a quite bad game. Not average, plain bad.

Name games with sad endings - Possibly spoilers

*****Syberia 2, Planescape: Torment and Mask of the Betrayer spoilers***** Syberia 2 is my suggestion. When you see Hans riding away, there is a mixed feeling of satisfaction and sadness coming with it. Was the whole point of giving up the law career and helping an old man achieving his...

I think EA/Bioware are blatantly trolling now.

Granted, all those points linked together make a bulletproof (although rather twisted) PR statement from EA. My apologies. On a side note - I wonder how far they are actually willing to go. I'm sure they employ intelligent people and must had anticipated the anger this statement would...

I think EA/Bioware are blatantly trolling now.

We have been talking about the magnitude of the reaction, not the length itself. Granted, the Airport mission issue didn't last long. With Blizzard, as I stated in my post above, they reacted very quickly - within two days - and backed away. After that there was no reason to keep the...
