I like it. It's quite cool and fresh. It feels like you're truly commanding an assault and fighting off an enemy, without the feeling of "base building" while it's still there... It's awesome. Only played as the Russians one time and the Germans many times. They seem sort of... balanced...

It also creates the mentality of us against "them". So whatever you do, it always have a reason: "We cannot allow them to...", "We must get there first..." etc. There is a dynamic competitive going on. The PvE world is already planned out for you, but how far "the others" have come or how strong...

Portal and Portal 2 will probably be the games that everyone can agree on for being "new enduring classics 10 and 20 years down the line" I think Nintendo's Wii as entertinment will steal the picture from single games when it comes to enduring gaming or when just talking about games.

Yeah it does look like, as you put it, "Call of BattleHonour cover", which is most likely the idea since those games do sell pretty darn well! I suppose it's all a marketing strategy, however, I do get the feeling they might be unsure how well it will sell and going with a safer solution...

Looks like someone has a grudge on Fallout 3 for not being Fallout 1 and 2... The pre-war food in New Vegas is somehow better then pre-war food in Fallout 3? How does people survive in the dessert with nothing to transport water in / with? Or any water tanks at all to have water supplies...
