    #010 Chapter 2: Morale

Annoyingly for me, the original Xbox controller (the huge one) is the only controller I've found that comfortably fits my hands.

Let's Talk Guardians Of The Galaxy Cameo Spoilers

"horrible 90s musician"? You and I differ rather a lot on that one Ross. Rob Zombie's music is the draw for me, not that big on his movies.

Here's What Game of Thrones' Map Would Look Like If It Was Based in America

And if it was set in the UK it'd look... well, exactly as it does now really.

Movie Defense Force: Dungeons & Dragons - Jeremy Irons Says NYANANANANA!

For my part ever since Jeremy Irons did his whole "Gay marriage is bad, men will marry their sons for tax/inheritance purposes" I've not been able to enjoy anything he's done anymore. It's a shame too, I liked him in Eragon. One of two decent performances in that film and the other was just...

The Big Picture: Why Robocop Still Rules

Now this is an interesting one, the old playground argument was who was better: Robocop or Terminator. (Good job Sega was on hand to give us a game where Robocop mows down endless terminators!) I was a huge Terminator fan as a kid so when I finally saw Robocop I was strongly biased against...

Things that should be be standard by now.

This goes double for anyone running a dual (or more) monitor setup, it can be nightmarish at times. On another note, the idea of 'industry standard' in the gaming industry can be risky - basically every EA press announcement ever. Mandatory multiplayer, microtransactions etc.

Firefly Online Delivers a Cargo Hold of Shiny Concept Art

An MMO for mobile devices only? That killed any enthusiasm the reading title gave me.

Historical periods that are barely ever explored in games

Recently I've been playing Rome 2 as the Brits and I'm really getting into that sort of time period and aesthetic. Mist, monsters, men painting themselves blue, druids and a lot of woodland. I was actually thinking that it's an underused (if ever?) setting in games and wouldn't mind seeing...

XCOM: Enemy Within Preview - The Human Threat of EXALT

Twelve new maps? Is that twelve specific to the EXALT missions or twelve in general? Because I remember something about getting 50% more levels in this.

Favourite "What if supers were real?" fiction

There was something a little like that called "My Hero", starred Doogle from Father Ted. It was terrible.

GTA V London Stabbing, Teens Arrested

Damn Escapist, we expect this sort of slant from the Daily Mail. From you? We expect better.

Poll: Should any of the endings of Fallout: New Vegas be considered canon? (Spoilers obviously)

One of them will be, but like previous Fallout titles we'll just have to wait for the sequel to find out.

World of Warcraft's Most Popular Names Include Arthas, Sephiroth

In my experience it was always shamans that had their class in their name. Not just the word 'shaman' but the word would be in there.

Poll: Do you believe in any sort of fate?

I believe there is, yes. I can put it down to simple mathematics. Predicting what can happen in the next few seconds is 'fairly' easy. Provided you know all the variables that is. Engineering/programming principles tend to support this if you're familiar with either. On the physical...

XCOM: Enemy Within Standalone Expansion Changes and Additions

The random resource is a bit of a pain, it would make more sense to find it either from killing aliens and getting to their corpses and extracting it before it expires or simply taking them alive and extracting it back at base. EDIT: Not to mention every squad is going to have a soldier...
