A Linkin Park fan and A Beatles fan

Anyone who says the Beatles has no good songs is absolutely fucking retarded. Also, on how do deal with it: ignore it. You won't change his mind, don't bother, just avoid the conversation. If he persists, start insulting his taste in music. Try telling him that Linkin Park is emo or...

Europe is second class to the gaming industry.

The main reason that AU prices for games is exponentially higher than what the US pays is because the general pricing structure (eg. $100 average for a new release) for videogames here was established when the $AU was worth something pathetic like 70 US cents. Over time, our dollar has improved...

    GTA 5

The entire game would consist of the protagonist travelling across the country shooting anyone opposed to an R18+ rating for games. I'd buy it.

    Dirty little secrets...

Actually, she's known I like her for the past 10 months or so. She just can't decide if she has feelings for me.

    Poll: Do you like Disturbed?

They're not my favourite band ever, but I can't say I don't like them. While a lot of their stuff tends to blend together for me, there are a few standout songs that I'll listen to over and over. They actually played locally last night, and I was a tad disappointed that I couldn't get tickets...

Europe is second class to the gaming industry.

To Europeans whining about game prices: Australians pay $120 for new releases. And we aren't even getting Rock Band!

    I made that

I completed a first-year University course in Software Engineering (mostly Java) when I was 13. Think I managed a distinction, too. And this is probably the coolest thing I've come up with in 3DS Max so far. [http://s59.photobucket.com/albums/g297/Sweenerdog32/?action=view&current=bullets.jpg]

    Dirty little secrets...

I'm leaving the school I currently attend because the girl I'm in love with (who is also my best friend) keeps leading me on and screwing with my mind. I told her it was because it's too far to travel to school and back every day.

    casual gamers

Thanks for clearing that up for me, I can't say I'm 100% up to date on what Nintendo's up to these days.

    casual gamers

While I agree that casual gaming will never envelop the core crowd, it seems that the 'Big 3' are placing a LOT of marketing emphasis on snagging people who don't really play games, and that's becoming a bit of a worry. Like was mentioned before, why create a vast, enthralling world full of...

Great games that are way to short

Fable was definitely too short. It was great fun while it lasted, but then it kinda just...skipped to the end. Methinks Molyneux spent too much time claiming the game was the epitome of RPG's and not enough time developing the damn thing. I hope Fable 2 is much lengthier.

    Favorite game related bird

I started OOT again, and wow, the fact that you can't speed up or skip dialogue is incredibly infuriating. Anyway, enough derail!

    casual gamers

I'd say a casual game is one where the mechanics of the game are instantly comfortable and usable by any person of any skill level. The difference between, say, Wii Tennis, and Soul Caliber 4, is that in Wii Tennis, the entire game consists of swinging the remote around. That's it. No...

Great games that are way to short

I really, really enjoyed The Darkness, even though it didn't have the best gameplay mechanics. It did something very different, had a GREAT story, brilliant art direction, and superb voice acting. The Darkness powers were pretty damn cool too. It was one of those games that you really got...

    casual gamers

The casual market is absolutely MASSIVE in comparison to the specific 'gamer' label. It's evident everywhere: the Wii has infiltrated millions of living rooms, retirement homes and even cruise ships. It allows parents to join in with what their kids are interested in, without having to worry...
