I've pretty much just buy handhelds only for Nintendo since the Gamecube.

It was a ghost town because it lacked content, was only on the less popular console,splintered the userbase with dlc, and also was a brand new IP. Those problems had nothing to do with the gameplay mechanics, which the majority of people found to be perfect.

I'd assume the cheapest option would be to get a 2DS seeing as in the 3D effect was pretty much just pointless fluff anyway.

I thought rumors suggested otherwise about backwards compatibility. In any event I can definitely afford to wait.

Looking to upgrade my OG 3DS to a New 3DS and not spend that much money. Should I wait another year for the NX reveal etc. in the event prices go down ( I know its Nintendo).

Yeah generic was probably a poor word choice. In any case it looks mediocre like a C tier shooter, something that would have been made during the PS2's hey day.

Yeah probably. Iron Man 3 was weird,more like Tony Starkman or something. I enjoyed it though.
