Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

There was an arcade game in the early 2000's. The graphics were a glossy 3d, and you ran around shooting at people in hallways with whatever gun you picked up. It was similar to Elevator Attack Reloaded, but the graphics were completely different. Any ideas?

Poll: Would you play a game about the American Revolution?

A third person RPG would work really well for an American Revolution game. Fire your rifle, hide, reload. Shorten the reload times to something manageable like 8 seconds. Put the focus on stealth and politicking, rather than combat, and I think you could go pretty far. Basically Fallout 3...

Classic games you can't get your hands on.

The Original Scorched earth is really hard to find. It also doesn't run well on modern machines because it runs so fast. Leisure Suit Larry, and other old Sierra Adventure games are also hard to come by because who the hell has a 3.5" drive anymore? And I third Whiplash, it's pretty damn...

Fallout 2. Louis Armstrong? Enclave shooting the hell out of a Vault? Ron Perlman giving a gritty voice over explaining that "War never changes?" Yes, it's that good.

Games you are absolutely PROUD to own!

I'm proud of my "Still With the Box and Instructions" Ocarina of Time. It's the first release, so the cartridge is gold, the box is gold, and the blood is still red, not green. Past that, I gave a copy of The Legend of Zelda (8 bit), in the box with instructions and map, to a friend as a...

    Gordon Freeman's age in HL2?

My guess is that he's in his early thirties. Advanced degree from MIT mean's he was at least 26 when he graduated, and no secret government research facility is going to hire a freshly minted PhD. He probably got 5+ years of experience, then got hired on at Black Mesa, possibly as a post doc...
