I have to say no to the question. Especially as an artist. I'm not a religious person myself all the different faiths have contributed something to our society and spiritual heritage giving us a rich and diverse collection of archetypal imagery with which to draw upon.

I have yet to have that happen. I'm just finishing up my BFA and on occasion use Wikipedia. Would never use it as my main source mind you, but as a secondary its good to have.

True, it is exciting, terrifying at times, at other glorious. But still, you can't (at least at the moment) wax philosophically with only science. YOu can explain a thing but not express its art.
