    Zero Punctuation: Murdered: Soul Suspect

I quite liked playing this game. Sure, the stealth sections had very little variation but fleeing from the enemies was satisfyingly hectic. I would have liked for the enemies to be individuals who had some kind of connection to the place they existed in, their own story that could contain clues...

    An irritating case of nostalgia

Well, graphics-wise they are guite similar... those games did pop up during my search las night. I do remember that the game was viewed from above (although the character was viewed from the side...), so there was no risk of falling in any of the stages. It was more about navigating past the...

    An irritating case of nostalgia

Hopefully someone here on the escapist forum can help me with a small problem. I suddenly remembered a game I used to play a long time ago, probably late 80s to early 90s, but I can't remember the bloody name. Well, here goes: It's a 2D pc game where you play as an indiana jones-esque...

Oldest game that you played recently.

Just started playing MediEvil (1998) again. I'm really enjoying the Henry Selick/Tim Burton-esque feeling that the game has.

    Extra Punctuation: Alternative Games

In my opinion Killer7 was, for lack of a better word, a heavy experience. Contrary to many other games I've played Killer7 doesn't hold you by the hand while it leads you from plotpoint to plotpoint, just so that you can feel that you are smart when you know what will happen next. And, most...

You're going to be stuck in power armour (forever!)

I'd choose the ARS suit from Vanquish.

Best Games Series with 3 games.

Resident Evil 1 - 3. They were, and still are, great games! I occasionally replay them, just to experience the nostalgia.

    Superpowers?

I'd choose omnipotence. Does one need anything else? And, if one would argue that it is not a superpower in itself and rather a state of being (a discussion I had with a friend), then I'd take the ability to induce omnipotence in myself. Because I can. Anyone tries anything, I erase you...

Rumor: Gordon-Levitt Takes Role of "Holiday Killer" in Dark Knight Rises

Has the character Hush been ruled out as a possible role for Gordon-Levitt? Perhaps the character could be changed so that, if Batman is defeated by Bane and hospitalized for some time, Hush comes out as another (considerably more brutal) kind of vigilante? Wild guess...

    Trailers: Batman: Arkham City Debut

Why... This year is already turning out to be one of the most expensive ones ever (counted in new games that I simply must have), and now Arkham City demands a pre-order spot on my list. ... Alright, alright... I guess I can skip eating for a week or so...

Trailers: Alice: Madness Returns Gameplay Trailer

Oh my... This year is turning out to be quite deadly to my finances... Aldready five games pre-ordered, and now you tease me so... Looks absolutely amazing.

Trailers: L.A. Noire Gameplay Series: Orientation

Nice to see a game where the facial expressions of the characters really match the dialogue. Pre-ordered it about a month ago. =)

Is it really worth cashing in old games?

Well, if you're certain that you will not miss them later on, then I'd say go right ahead. Of course, as Iron Lightning said, it's never really "worth it" to sell them back to the shop... But you might make another gamer happy, by getting a few more PS2 or Xbox games back out on the market...

The Escapist's Game of the Year

    Good pick, in my opinion.

Anne Hathaway Will Play Selina Kyle in The Dark Knight Rises

Hmm... The choice of Anne Hathaway does surprise me. But, then again she looks "like she couldn't hurt a fly", which would make it all the more shocking when she starts cutting up people. And Bane... I'm intrigued!
