I don't think many people should be surprised: The strength of the Bethesda games has never been something we can thank the developers for, these games are made great by the additions of the modding communities.

I'm annoyed that they haven't gotten realistic enough. The 2-3 hits to kill people in the Battlefield games, for example. They've gotten more realistic because a great many of us are striving for more realism. ... though, unfortunately, there seem to be just as many that really are...

I do. Pokemon is a good example. Games that trend toward the Bulletstorm/Duke Nukem 3d style also. Juvenile in nature.

This is my current New Vegas order, but additions happen often - I usually check NV Nexus before I start the game just to see if there is anything I want to add. Using a load order sorter will help, but some manual tweaking is almost always required. New Vegas Mod Manager is the way to go.
