It seems everyone with those wings would be inconvenienced but them. If your going to be a superhero or villain that can fly make it permanent. If you have wings they can be cut off by an enemy.

Mass Effect 3 had some really difficult decisions in it. Some of them kept me thinking for like 5 minute before i chose an option.

I thought about that. But you would run out of stuff to do eventually. Would be hard to have a relationship. No sleeping next to each other etc. Thats like closeness haha
