I'm American, and personaly have never met anyone who went passed a couple of tasteless Canadian jokes, nor do I know anyone who has met someone like that, so I would say no.
It's hard to sympathize with someone suing for $75,000. Even so, they shouldn't be having a day like this under the circumstances. The worst anyone should is writing a sternly worded letter. It's not THAT big of a deal.

My brother showed me how to play, but despite that he told me to, I didn't build a house. I placed one torch right next to me and, amazingly, no monsters spawned. It was on medium difficulty, so I guess I was just really, really, lucky.
