No. I had the same gut feeling about ME3, that I did before playing Fable 3. It was a sort of intense feeling of reluctance. I ignored it and bought Fable 3. I ended up hating the game, and lamenting the demise of a once enjoyable franchise.
The games are incomparable of course, but the same...
I had no intention of buying it around launch time because the line-up seemed so 'unappealing'. However, I think I was experiencing payday euphoria when I bought the Vita. At that time I think I would have bought almost anything with the money burning a hole in my wallet.
Having said that...
I'm going to buy it after my holidays. By the time I get back, the storm surrounding it should have died down, and presumably it will have become just a normal game, and hopefully, an enjoyable one.
I don't rate my skills too highly. I sucked at Ninja Gaiden and suffered the humiliation of forcefully dying in order to trigger the easy mode. And I still couldn't complete the game!
But I have had no problems with the controls. Or the difficulty of this game.

I like the racism in TES games. It seems so....fitting. There aren't any races that you can wholly like, or dislike. So choosing a side takes a little more consideration than in other games.
A history lesson I actually enjoyed! As you seem to be in the know, I have two questions. Has TES lore EVER explained the disappearance of the Dwemer? And why are Aedra not in the games?
The dungeon layouts in Skyrim are pretty easy. Today, I was surprised to make it out of a dungeon at a sprint. Even though I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings.
As far as being lost in Skyrim is concerned, the only way I get lost, is when I look at my clock and it says 4am.
At the beginning of the game, I was pushed towards the Nords' side because of that Imperial hussy wanting to cut my head off. But she got her desserts soon after. But then Ulfric puts me off because he looks a bit shifty. So, unlike in Oblivion, i'm not looking to play the noble hero this time...
