    In Witcher 3, Size Matters

I said it seemed "a little weird" not that it was a fucking travesty, Christ. It's true, living in Canada has skewed my perspective on this, seeing as I'm the only white guy on my block and work mostly with immigrants or the descendants of such at my job. It was just kinda noticeable, that's all.

    In Witcher 3, Size Matters

You see, I just don't buy this. There were black people in medieval Europe, you know that right? Not all that many, but they were there. I don't see it as being an especially big deal but it did strike me some ways in that I hadn't encountered a single non-white character save for one succubus...

Anybody wanna help with this artist block?

I'm a middling artist suffering from a creative block of sorts and I figured this might be a fun way to work through it. Basically, I'll draw up three or more panels at a time for whatever comic ideas you'd like to suggest, then post it in this thread. You've just got to write it. Any other...

Suggest PC games that can fill a Bloodborne-shaped hole in my heart, that aren't Dark Souls.

Oh... See I was going to say Blade of Darkness, which is pretty similar, but more in gameplay and level design than in tone... ... and then I remembered they don't even sell it anymore. Shit.

Poll: Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Who's your money on?

I only watch boxing occasionally (almost never) so I couldn't give an educated opinion but the way I had it explained to me made it sound like Pacquiao'll probably win. I guess Mayweather has a good record so far but I'm told a lot of that has to do with him being very picky with his fights and...

What do you do for work?

Just curious. Currently I work at a paper processing factory where I spend 12 hours a day grabbing bits of cardboard off a conveyor belt and stacking them on pallets. Only work 3-4 days a week though, so it's aaalll goood.

    Idea: Lets make a game

I've been thinking about something like this for a while, though my idea was based in a different culture and genre - a top-down ninja stealth game. I'd be willing to draw up some concepts if anyone was interested. I've also been looking to branch off into animation, so this seems like as...

Playstation is having a huge sale, what should I get? Just two more days!

Metro: Redux - If I recall correctly it is an HD update of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, both pretty decent games. If you haven't heard of them, they're fairly linear FPS games with a focus on survival and stealth, though what sets them apart is the setting and atmosphere. The...

Need some advice on Dragon's Dogma.

I tried playing through as a warrior my first time around, but this really didn't work out when I got to the Dragon. After about fifteen tries I was never able to even come close to killing him. I starting over and played as an Assassin, and found that with a combination of some kind of speed-up...

That game that would have been better had you heard nothing about it before playing...

When I played Fable I was pretty young and had never heard of Peter Molyneux, so I thought it was awesome. Even with the myriad of undelivered promises it still managed a lot of things that hadn't really been done up to that point. I was aware of ol' Pete by the time Fable 2 and 3 came out, but...

"I Finally Found It!" Games You Wanted, Looked For A Long Time After...And Finally Found

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. I remembered playing the demo many times as a kid but was never sure what the game was called. Then I saw it on PSN store one day, did a little research and sure enough, it was the one I thought it was. Surprisingly enough it holds up really well, too. I also...

Poll: The Use of "Pixel Art" in Modern Games

I want to disagree as I feel that a limited colour palette can look good if used smartly, but sadly there aren't many, if any, examples where this has been done.

Games with Dark Souls-ish Combat Mechanics?

Incidentally, I stumbled across this today: http://www.gog.com/game/apotheon Same basic concept. Figured it might interest you.

The funniest games you ever played

Armed and Dangerous is probably one of the only games I've played that I thought was genuinely funny. Ugly as hell, but funny.
