He is not a main character, he is you. In order to make you feel more "in the game" Valve has given him no dialogue or personality. What you get out of the game is not filtered through the characters personality, opinions, or thoughts. It is just you, and makes it a very unique experience.

Dude, Red9 for the win, always. I have played through the ps2 version at least 30 times, and don't bother with any other pistol than the red9. It is the most fun to shoot, and looks the best, in my opinion. You definitely do not need the stock for the tmp or red9 and the tmp is flat out...
