I enjoy JRPGs but WRPGs are my favorite. Hands down my favorite is Mass Effect 1. I know 2 is a better game but 1 introduced me to the world and put it's hooks in me from the start. A close second is Fallout 3.

There really isn't a defining formula I can pinpoint, but you just kinda know. For instance, Crysis...I think the series died with the mediocre release of 2 but they are pushing forward. Assassin's Creed still has juice in the tank though (depending on how 3 is) but other games not so much.

Anyone pick up Sin and Punishment for the Wii over the weekend? It came out on Sunday for the Wii and it's fantastic. I'm not a huge fan of shmups, but the game just has so much going for it I believe it made me a fan of the genre. Anyone else pick it up? What did you think if you did?

I'm pretty sure playing with a complete stranger is done daily on Xbox Live. I'm sure you'll be able to find someone else who doesn't have someone to play with. After a few minutes of chatting, you won't be complete strangers anymore.

After how much I was disappointed with FF13, I really hope this game is good. I'm a huge FF fan and I want to love everything they put out. But, for whatever reason, I just couldn't find any redeeming qualities in 13.
