It's interesting to me that you can say and In the same post. Mando is the definition of "competent but forgettable".

Erotic things are erotic. I've enjoyed porn featuring gay males, and I'm pretty confident in my heterosexuality. For me, personally, whether porn "works" is more about hitting one of my various and weird fetishes than anything else, including the characters involved.
