I'm noticing a distinct lack of Wipeout in this thread. It's by far my favourite racing game, and bar a few dalliances in the early years on the Saturn and N64, it's only on the Playstation.
Time Crisis 2 while I was at university. Even when it got to the point that I could 1CC it without breaking a sweat, I still kept going back to play it on a daily basis.
My ringtone is this - Desperate Stike - Half Minute Hero

And the text tone is this - Hell Rock - Hell Girl

Got to be honest, some of the tones here have made me reconsider having Hell Rock as the text tone.
Very simple. I would take Time Crisis 2. I would put more red enemies (if you haven't played it, they're good shots and they'll shoot you accurately if you don't get them first) and destructibles in it, and then cut the time limit in half. Oh, and reinstate the timer mechanic of the first one...
Fighting Final Bison on Street Fighter Alpha 3 made me cry. Because I played in the arcade, not realising I wouldn't be allowed to continue against him. Needless to say, he wiped the floor with me. I hate him so much.
"Warthog from above" has become a favourite killing method for me on Halo. Any time the poor bastard I'm about to squish doesn't turn around, I consider that a stealth kill. If we're not counting that, I'll have any rocket kill I've ever scored when my opponent wasn't looking.
Snatcher. I got it thinking "Ah, this might be a bit of a lark, I'm bored as hell and want to play something to amuse me for a bit". Four hours later, I'm still playing it, only stopping because I have work in the morning.
This is why a rating out of 5 is such a good system.
1 Star = It's bad. Really bad. Even fans of the genre/series will probably hate it.
2 Stars = It's not great, there's plenty of better games in the genre, but SOMEONE out there will probably enjoy it.
3 Stars = It's alright..., no major...
Snatcher.
The fourth wall breaking parts were incredible. Gillian walks into a bar filled with old Konami characters and starts complaining he doesn't fit in because he's the only one who isn't an old Konami character, before Metal Gear (yes, that one) tells him he fits in better than he...
I'll have my Megadrive controller, please. I gave that poor thing hell and it still works. I'm choosing it because I'm rough as hell with my controllers and it's the only controller I've got that came with the original system.
