This, because of its sentimental value:

Or this baby,

because it introduced the joystick onto gaming controllers. I think.

This gets my vote for worst.

L1, R2, Triangle, are you friggin' kidding me? Shouldn't some of the buttons have a different texture, so I don't actually have to look at the thing?
God forbid you have to spend 2 minutes memorizing where all 4 of the buttons are. I mean it's not like the keyboard you used to type that had something like 50, or anything. Oh, and L = Left, R = Right. Just in case you didn't know.

I've always liked the SNES controller, but that's probably because it was my first console. I like PS3's and how they come wireless without batteries, though the L2/R2 triggers bother me. And the 360's except the Dpad. Though it never really made all that much of a difference for me, and I've gotta say I prefer a mouse over an analog stick.

My favorite game controller is a mouse & keyboard, & the only advances thay've made is backlighting, hotkey reconfiguration, dropping the ball, & ditching the cord.

gamecube controllers are made of win (and fruit)

ps3 & xbox360 controllers suck.

they suck less because everyone is constantly getting used to them.
gamecube needs no adjusting.

PS3 controllers. Especially the dualshock 3's, they have a nice finish and feel awesome.

Ok, Mr. Smarty Pants, read up before ya get all snooty. Some of these controllers, like the X-box, just have 6 nearly-identical buttons slapped on there together. That's sloppy design. 4 Shoulder buttons that all feel the same are confusing, but maybe I'm just too stupid to "get it," as I was enjoying the 3D renaissance while you were telling everyone how great Panzer Dragoon was.

I'll have my Megadrive controller, please. I gave that poor thing hell and it still works. I'm choosing it because I'm rough as hell with my controllers and it's the only controller I've got that came with the original system.

I love the PS3's analog sticks, the feel of them. I genuinely enjoy platformers on the PS3 more. I hate the triggers though, and the controls of Killzone felt way to robotic and stiff for me. Resistance nailed it, but was a much more average game.

I would love the 360 controller is the DPad didn't suck, and bumpers weren't tiny, and the analog sticks were more loose. The 360's triggers are amazing.

I know I'm nitpicky, but I play on both systems a lot and that's just my observations. I still love playing games on both consoles.
