This game is a brilliant little time waster. Really clever but extremely frustrating at times.

the trouble with renting is for the most part you need some time to enjoy the game, for example gta4 and fallout 3. So the few days or, in some generous shops, a week is pointless unless you re-rent it at which point you may as well just buy it.

I didn't get that either, maybe she's got a big arse. I never played them, I bought one of the games, once... and it crashed too much to play.

The original game was amazing, shame they crapped all over it with Mark Wahlberg. He manages to be out-acted by a plastic potted plant in The Happening. So considering that he was a terrible casting for Max.

I found Alyx about as much fun as Navi. I think Half-Life 2 had some awesome support characters generally though, namely Kleiner and Eli, they're my favorites, not sure which I prefer so I chose both

Quite right. If you built a house exactly the same as your neighbor down to the last brick, then sure the architects might be a bit upset but its a far reach from running into their house, guns blazing and taking it by force. Rather an extreme example but it made my point i think... kinda
