    The R Word

Wait, the author suffered a broken arm (most likely a jont break) at age 7 and the hospital didn't even come close to checking for signs of abuse? You had a borken arm, probably needing your parents help to change your clothes, and they noticed nothing either? Granted, I hardly ever take...

Escapist Podcast: Bonus: Mass Effect 3 With Spoilers Part 2

If you want to live in the Destroy ending, you only need 4000 if you "Save" Anderson too (as in, don't let the Illusive Man execute him). I think it might be achievable without the multiplayer, if you get EVERY asset. If you don't do that, you'll need the 5k.

    Favourite ME3 scene?

Definitely the Anderson speech. Shame that now I've heard the longer cut version, I can't help but think that the shorter one isn't as good, but there we go.

    Ok, Bioware you're *somewhat* forgiven

I thought it was a fair bit shorter than ME2. It took me about 50 hours for a full completion run, whereas ME3 was only about 35. But I suppose that's not including the time I've spent playing multiplayer.

If they were down at that point, you shouldn't be seeing them at the end.

I Have Obtained ME 3 Ending Enlightenment, A MUST-READ FOR ANYONE QUESTIONING THE ME 3 ENDINGS!

It's difficult to compare a movie to a game, especially when one of the main focuses of the game is about your choices impacting the story. I'm not sure whether people are annoyed by the lack of a happy ending, or just that all the endings are so similar and it feels like the game is penalizing...

I Have Obtained ME 3 Ending Enlightenment, A MUST-READ FOR ANYONE QUESTIONING THE ME 3 ENDINGS!

Well, sure. But it's still incredibly annoying that virtually everything you do is completely meaningless. When someone can skip all of the extra content and side missions and get almost the exact same ending as you, it makes all your work seem pretty insignificant.

I Have Obtained ME 3 Ending Enlightenment, A MUST-READ FOR ANYONE QUESTIONING THE ME 3 ENDINGS!

Maybe they'll pull the old dream sequence/indoctrination ending for a DLC. Sure, it'd be really annoying, but if it makes room for an ending that doesn't make me want to cave my skull in, I'm willing to accept it. While I'm fantasizing, let's make it a free DLC which comes witha bunch more...

"I always let the Vanguard die."

The problem is probably that on Bronze, even terrible vanguards can get pretty high scores. That in itself isn't a problem, but when they try to play like that on Silver or higher, they tend to go down behind a wall of enemies and that makes them really hard to help. I try to get ayone that goes...

The Jennifer Hepler discussion is taking a turn for the worse

I didn't think there was that much info about Krogan females in the first game, except for that little bit of flavour text on one of the planets that talked about that female warchief.

The Jennifer Hepler discussion is taking a turn for the worse

I thought people didn't like her because she's kind of a bad writer who doesn't understand, like or play games as opposed to simply hating her for the content of her work.

Which game/sequel are you most disappointed never happened?

Timesplitters 4. Apparently they renewed the license recently, but WHERE IS IT?

    Skyrim Companions

Sounds like you could both do with Derkeethus, seeing as he's an Argonian but he tends to use Bow and Arrows, so he's not usually close enough to be worried by an ill-timed hammer blow or somesuch. Now if only Frost would realise that he's a bit of a hazard too. You know that if you sprint...

    Skyrim: Who did you marry?

I might have to marry Derkeethus. Partially because he's actually useful in a fight, partially because he sounds like a fantasy Garrus but mainly because we're both Argonians. Shame about the glitch he's got though, so I'll wait until that clears up. I guess this makes the Dragonborn a big...

What Race Do You Use In Skyrim? [And Why]

But if you do that you won't recruit Derkeethus. He's like... Elder Scrolls Garrus.
