*Obvious spoilers in this thread*
So I'm about to finish the game and I know I'm probably going to get disappointed but as a whole the game has been the best of the series imho. So with that said, what were your favorite scenes?

Mine is definitely to do with a certain assassin.

Especially awesome after what happened on Thessia that I just had to upload it

Also when Anderson died, I think that was the first time I have cried during a video game, either way manly tears were shed.

Edit: FFS, Spelt definitely as defiantly again lol.

I should imagine just about every answer to this thread ought to go in a spoiler box so...

I have so many favourite scenes from the game but one of the most poignant moments for me was saying goodbye to Mordin on Tuchanka. I think it was the first of many gut-wrenching moments to come. I don't think I've ever seen someone meet their own demise with such grace and conscience.

I also want to throw out there the time spent with Garrus on the citadel, letting him win the shootout. The "date" with my straight MaleShep and Kaiden. For those that actually care about his character (one of the best in the series for anybody with any class), it was a very rewarding and emotional scene.

I also felt a little disappointed when Grunt survives his charge into the Rachni nest. It was so well done I was certain he wasn't coming back.

I really can't wait to go and play it all again.

That would have to be pretty up there for me. Especially since my Shepard said exactly what I was thinking. No one fucks with Thane.
Second place might have to be all the fleets warping in at the end of the game, although I wish it was longer.
Really, I could probably quote just about every scene involving some of my favorite companions on here but I don't feel like putting up tons of spoiler boxes.

Rannoch. It was such a heart warming scene between My Shep and his romanced Tali. It was at that point I knew that had the ending not gotten in the way, Shepard would have gladly retired and lived out the rest of his days on Rannoch.

The part where the combined fleets of the galaxy all jump into Sol, coming from a military background this scene is just fucking awesome

Just skip to 1 minute in :)

Damn that was so epic, yeah I just finished the game like an hour ago, I've been waiting throughout the whole series for an epic space battle.

All of those.
But most of all,
Mordin's end on Tuchanka. Needed the Salarian help, didn't want to cure the genophage. Mordin's my second favourite ME character (after Garrus ofc). His passioned "I made a mistake!" was really moving ... Did not want to have to shoot him, but he left me no choice. The cutscene with him crawling and bleeding towards the control panel, only to die at the last moment made me feel way more guilty than a game has any right to make me feel; first time any game has made me feel that.

There are a lot of great scenes, but this is probably one of my favorites.

I love the character and hated to see him go, but the way he did it was fantastic...

Definitely the Anderson speech. Shame that now I've heard the longer cut version, I can't help but think that the shorter one isn't as good, but there we go.

My favourite scene was Mordin. The way he sang to calm himself. . *sigh*

My favorite scene was at the end of Kasumi's side-quest.

Upon cornering the Indoctrinated Hanar and finding out what he plans to do, you bust it out: "You're just a big stupid jellyfish!"

Definitely any of the friendship scenes between Shepard and Garrus, hearing them reminisce is just too brilliant having played each game and imported my character through all of them.

Saying goodbye to Garrus.

Garrus states that he doesn't know if Turian heaven and human heaven are the same place, but if it is, meet him at the bar. To which Shepard replies, "Garrus and Shepard, running amock in heaven. I could think of worse fates."

My favourite goodbye of the whole game.

The Quarian Parts
Since I romanced Tali from the get go I have always liked the history behind the Geth and Quarian conflict. Everything revolving around Legion, Tali and the Morning War to me was the real essence of the series in that synthetic and organic life can find common ground to coexist. Being able to bring resolution to that 200 year old conflict and not only resolve it but bring the Quarians back to their homeworld really tugged my heartstrings. Seeing Legion sacrifice himself so that he could bring true sentience to the Geth and Tali finally being able to breathe the air of her homeworld is something I will never forget.

Several scenes stand out the most, but i'll pick between two of them, both involving my two favorite characters. Taking the renegade interrupt to kill KAi Leng was awesome. Properly avenging Thane like that brought closure to my Shepard's broken heart 9although she technically didn't romance anybody since the Galaxy is at war, and it doesn't seem like an appropriate time. there's one achievement i probably won't get :p).
Second scene, saying good-bye to everyone, before the final stretch of the game, particularly, Liara. Liara has always loved and been there for every Shepard, and this final scene with her proved that more than anything else. It was very touching, and hard to get on witht eh final act of the game after that.

Christ, I can't decide on one. In order-

-Grunt dominating the Ravagers and surviving. I figured it would be a typical heroic sacrifice last stand thing, and then he walks out covered in blood.

-Giant thresher maw vs. Destroyer. 'Nuff said.

-Mordin's death, the finality started to hit me.

-End of Rannoch. You know.

-Killing the shit out of Kai Leng after he killed Thane

-Fleets arriving at Earth

-The scene just before heading out to the beam. That broke my soul. And "there's no Shepard without Vakarian". Their whole conversation was when I knew for sure they were going to kill Shepard (although it was pretty obvious from the beginning, not really any other way to do it).

-Running to the beam. After Shep was hit, I was fucking scared. This isn't the kind of game where you have plot immunity, so there was a shit ton of suspense.

-And the ending. Yes, the terrible, villainous betrayal that's broken the fanbase like tectonic plates. Especially now that I've talked with people about it, it makes a lot more sense than it appears.
