    No. One of the great things about Hitman is that your penalty for screwing up isn't a game over, it's just a messier assassination. If the game forced you to into silent assassin mode it would lose a lot of the charm.

    Fun fact: If you place a mine directly on a spot where an enemy will spawn, the mine will disappear. Now you're out 1 mine and a thing that was supposed to explode did not and is very much alive and eating your face. :(
